I am talking about the one if your get sacked or run back an INT it counts as negative passing yards. How does everything feel about this? And, are you going to buy it anyway?

Well, you choices are fucking retarded.
Also, does it really matter? Really, it seems that these ESPN Fans are getting outta hand and finding retarded things... its liked if I asked you," In ESPN NFL 2K5, did you like the way the announcers talked about plays that past like 2 plays ago?"
Listen, im no madden fanboy (havn't bought one since 2001, and am buying this years for my brother) but let the damn people enjoy their game, eventually (like 6 years) they will be so bored with madden that they will seek out new football games.

Doesn't bother me any... It doesn't take away from the experience. Plus I've always felt that when a QB was sacked the yardage should come off the passing yards.

Why would it come off of the passing yards? It's not like he threw the ball backwards. It should come off of rushing yards, if anything.
So let me get this straight...
If Team A is on Team B's one yard line, and Team B's corner intercepts a pass from Team A and runs it back for a touchdown, they count this as -99 passing yards?
If so, that would be pretty fucking bad.

Do Madden trolls ever go away?

There was a glitch like that in NFL 2k5. If during a play you get a clipping penalty, all of the yords you gained on that play would be given to you in negative yardage. I got some -70 yard runs with that, it totally screwed my YPC a couple of times.

Then don't throw fucking interceptions. I mean, isn't that the general idea anyway?

Who cares anyways? But to respond to Farny, the reason I think a sack should count against passing yards is because the QB hasn't broken the plane yet so he can still throw the ball (foward). I played football in HHS and I understand the rules very well. This is just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth.
This glitch doesn't affect gameplay so I don't see what the fuss is all about.

I thought that was fixed, but I don't care. I only look at the scoreboard at the end of the game, baby!

Wasn't there a much bigger glitch in last years game about stamina? Or was that 2 years ago?
edit- But honestly, if there are so few changes to a game year from year, how do these glitches keep getting in. It's not as if any of the changes they made to the game should affect that in any way.

There's a glitch every year in Madden. I've stopped counting and have stopped caring anyway since it's Madden and EA. You'd think by now with only small additions to the game that they could finally clean up the code.

I have never noticed. I don't play online and I only rented it. So my only goal is to win the super bowl to see the super bowl celebration.

Madden certainly isn't garbage, but I'm certainly sick of it. If I ever feel the desire play a football game I'll check out the arcadey alternatives.

*sigh* I just don't understand this at all. If you don't like football then fine don't buy it but Madden is definitely not rehashed garbage. It is arguably the best football sim on the planet and the only game in town at the moment with the NFL and NFLPA licenses.
There's a reason it sells millions of copies every year and it's not because everyone is dumber than you - it's because EA puts out a great game year after year. Do you have to buy it every single year? I don't think so (I tend to buy every 3rd or 4th year) but there are plenty of people who want the new features and roster updates and think it is worth $50 - it certainly doesn't mean the game is garbage.

Also, its not rehashed garbage, its just that there only so much you can do to a football game to keep it a football game! You want them to make it a basketball game?
