I just read the small print, and it looks like it's not happening at a Fry's in my area. Good luck to those that live in dallas, arlington, irving, & plano though

I hear anything over 200 gbs gets to be kind of unreliable. Is that true?

Where you hear this?
I have a maxtor 200gb drive and the only thing I notice about it is that it is LOUD :O

got it for like 70-80 bucks on black friday last year at CompUSA..

I was reading about it when I wanted to buy a 300 gb external drive (can't remember where I came across it).

The only thing I know that is required for 200gb hard drives is that you will need to have an ATA-133 IDE Controller for 137gb+ hard drives.
