I've never had any problems with tigerdirect and rebates.
Infact just last month I got my $50 rebate on my motherboard.

Never, ever buy anything with a rebate from TigerDirect. In fact, never buy anything from TigerDirect.
The FTC had to step in a while ago when they weren't paying their rebates, lying about warranties, and selling used or refurbished items as new. They have gone out of their way lately to improve their image, but they're no better. Stay away from TigerDirect.
