I wanna get some pc speakers for good quality sound for music and most of all gaming, but I don't know much about audio and so forth. Is 7.1 really neccessary?
Post some good deals and some info if you got any.

Over 250 reviews and still a 5 egg rating. All the reviews I read were great. Best of all, it's less than $50. A true cheap ass must love that.

I have those as well, but have not hooked them up because I still need to purchase a sound card.
Fat wallet has a whole thread about those speakers and deals on them (they were/ maybe are 40 dollars at buy.com with free shipping)
what kind of budget do you have?
Yeah those speakers are quite good for the price. They dont do midrange sounds to well. But if its for a comp you dont really need to worry about that.
If your budget is small these are awsome.
