what'd u guys think of the title match tonight?
i thought it started out slow, really picked up, and had a pretty weak ending.

i mean thats the 5th time in 4 months HBK didnt win the title...how is he still a contender?!

iknow people are gunna flame this topic because people hate wrestling, so please be creative, if u post crap like "0mg itz f4ke!1" or something about how "gay" it is youre likley to get flamed back :twisted:

I stopped watching when they let Austin back in after he beat his wife and ran from the cops. It used to be much better overall anyway, now it's just the same old repetitive junk, trying to be outrageous just for the sake of being outrageous. Bring back Demolition!

back home i get TNA: Explosion, its good, but they need more new stars than aj styles

max, u should watch sometime, its changed so much for the better since september of last year, they are having amazing main event matches on raw, and actully hyping them. they do still have some crap, but the workrate makes up for it

Damn right about needing better writers. Wrestling has been crap IMO since WWE bought out WCW. With WCW, both they and the WWE were constantly battling each other for the best storylines and etc. Now with WWE being basically a monopoly their is no one to push them to perform at a higher level.

thats nice but you really cant run a promotion full of retired rasslers. i mean, yes they have draw power, but NONE of them can work anymore (and in big kev's case, never could work)

I enjoy wrestling and try to watch it, but I'm tired of watching Jericho get his ass kicked every damn week. Also, for whatever reason Spike TV has been running three hours later than it used to here (I'm icomplaining to my cable company as I speak), so RAW is on at 10 PM and I have better things to do from ten to midnight.

I always though Jericho was a decent champ. He is good with a mic and decent in the ring. Not the best ever, but a nice alternative to HHH

Agreed. My cousin and I have a really good shot at scoring 3rd row ringside seats for a Smackdown show and we are thinking about passing it up because it's Smackdown. Now if it were RAW, I'd be all over that.

I like the retarded guy angle that is being played :), its as funny as Billy/Chuck BookerT/Goldust was a year or two ago...other then that its been getting pretty boring.


Now My story of how I met Nash and Saturn.


WCW was coming to my area, and this is currently when Nitro was on top.

There is one hotel that all the Vip's/etc stay in. So I knew WCW would be there.

Its funny too, because all the wrestlers arrived early, and they were just driving around town all day in limo's/SUVS...etc.

Some of my friends worked the place where the event was going on, so they got to meet some of the wrestlers.

I had gone searching for them in the morning but was unable to get the chance to actually meet anyone. Altough I saw Bobby the Brian, in some daisy dukes :(.

After the show as over, I was at my friends house and borrowed his pizza delivery clothes. So me and another friend came to the hotel dressed up, we had some old pizza boxes and pizza with us too.

After walking around for like 20 minutes, we didnt see anyone except for a huge Trainer.

Finally passing the lounge I saw some ladies and saw Nash and Saturn.

Saturn was walking around really drunk, and he was talking like Pop Eye.

Nash was pretty drunk too, but he was quiet. I came into the Area and Nash started yelling Pizza, and asked me to come over.

I told him that the order was canceled and that the pizza was sorta old. He picked up a slice with his thumb and index finger and sniffed it like a dog would. Then he made a hurling noise and threw it back in the box.

Nash was actually sitting with one of the Nitro girls, (the asian one). I had some nitro cards that i bought, and brought with me and asked if he could sign his autograph. I got his, and he got Saturn's for me.

Then he was looking through the cards and saw another nitro girl. He asked me if I knew who Shawn Michaels was, he said that Shawn was geting married to this girl, and drew and arrow on the card pointing to her breasts and wrote "Insert Shawn" above it.

The nitro girl that he was sitting with, also looked at the cards, but didnt see herself and was pretty dissapointed.

Nash was huge, and had a huge cranium.

Another friend who drove us, was waiting out side. He got Ric Flair's auto but had to beg for it :(. Arn was pretty nice and gave him an auto too.


The only other auto I got was when wcw came back the next year. I got Norman Smiley aka..Warron Moon

Did anyone watch the main event last night. U noticed at the end when shawn, benoit and the referee were knocked down, that shawn got up looked at benoit and benoit was too slow to get up. you hear shawn say "COMMON RIGHT NOW" he kept on saying this till finally chris benoit get up and take the sweet chin music. shawn kept stumbling on purpose cuz benoit was too slow to get up he looked pretty pissed off at benoit.

Wrestling is very similar to video games as far as some people love the old school stuff while others are only familiar with the new and aren't impressed with the old. I've grown up watching this crap since it was on Saturday afternoons. I mostly watch raw, as I've discovered there is nothing else on tv Mondays that I have any interest in. This week was pretty good, the end sucked though, great match, then WTF.

And has anyone else noticed how about half the Canadian wrestlers are now being announced as US residents, the latest being Chris Jericho from somewhere in NY. Lance Storm was the best just by being from Calgary....Alberta Canada.

Grandmaster Sexay. Not a big loss. Just continuing this bizarre trend of RAW improving IMO.

My favorite site is the classic Lords of Pain ( http://www.lordsofpain.net ) for editorials and recaps.

And yeah, Smackdown REALLY sucks now. What the hell is with the writers totally wrecking the cruiserweight division... hell, it was worth watching just for those matches alone, and now they job the title to Jackie... great. Just great. Not to mention the Mrs. Guerrero heart attack angle. Remember last year with Al Wilson? Goddamn.
