These look really cool, and they even claim to have rumble on them. I just wonder how easy it is use. On the original NES controllers you were only meant to use two buttons and D-pad, but these have four-face buttons and two analog sticks, and more. Does anyone know how comfortable these are.

Also, I hope they come out with similar controllers for X-Box or Gamecube.

my brother bought one a while ago, its actually pretty good to use, except the triggers and be a pain in the ass. D-pad is good and the analogs are tight

I have one. I'm just not able to use the PS2 controllers anymore. I picked up one to play Champions of Norrath. I love it. :) Yes it has some rumble. Not a lot, but Noticeable. And the triggers are fine, but you do have to adjust to them. Nice Controllers. I'm thinking of picking up a few more and some PC adaptors.

unfortunatly i dont think theres a ps2/cube adapter that works with this thing. I'd love to finnaly finish Zelda II on the compilation disk without loosing the use of my left thumb.

You have something against the Hori pad? Seems like it would work just fine if all you need to do is play Zelda II on the compilation disc. It's about the same price as this retrocon too, and you wont need to buy an adaptor to use it on the GC

You can use in-store pickup on their website so you should be good to go.

If you do the in-store pickup option, the price is what you see on the website. (Note that you've already "Bought" it, it's just you have to go physically get it.)

How are the shoulder buttons set up on that? It looks too flat to fit them one on top of the other.

The D-Pad is way too clumsy and imprecise but everything else is ok.

Is this pad only available for the PS2, or are the Cube and Xbox versions?

They're set side by side. Kinda odd, but you end up using the tip of your finger and the middle "pad" of your finger for the two.

Yea, it works on PS1.

Note that you'll get a RANDOM color. I ordered two, and got one silver and one grey/blue.

Just got mine in the mail yesterday. This little bad boy has TOTALLY replaced my offical Sony PS2 controller. The cord is even a bit longer than the standard PS2 controller, so I don't have to use an extension cable anymore.

I checked it out w/ Chaos Legion (action), Need for Speed: HP2 (driving), Wipeout Fusion (driving), Tribes:AA (FPS), and SkyGunner (flight sim). "A" on everything. (Even got a best time ever in NFS.) The sticks are TIGHT (like, even more than offical PS2 controller tight), and the buttons are good. You feel like you could run the controller over w/ a truck and it wouldn't even have a scratch on it. Sturdy as heck.

Everythings great. The L and R triggers everyone complains about only take about two minutes to get total mastery of. (You just have to use your finger like you did your thumb on an old NES to get both the A and B buttons.)

It's even got a grip on the connector end so you can jerk it out of the PS2 by the cable. ;)

Vibration is a little on the week side. But it *is* the size of a mini cell phone.

Great rubber grip on the back.

You MUST hold this like an old NES controller, which means it rests on your fingers, not in your palm. (Otherwise, you can't reach the sticks w/ your thumbs. Well, I've got large hands, so it may just be me.) It's a bit odd to hold, but you won't notice it in a while. Serious nastalga from just holding it.

This is my main controller now, and goes w/ me everywhere.

I was able to grab mine yesterday with express pickup, and I'm liking it so far. The only thing I don't like is the D-pad, which doesn't seem particularly responsive (but that doesn't mean that it's not an improvement over the PS2 DS). If you haven't got one yet, order now.

Too bad there isn't a RetroCON for the GameCube :(
