I might consider getting one of the other versions, if I can get a deal... I don't know. I have heard you can unlock all the available breeds in any of the games, it's just that each one starts with 6 different breeds... is that true, anyone know?? If so, I guess I'll just stick with my Chihuahua version!

All versions can eventually unlock all dogs...the three versions just determine what dogs you start with.

They're all the same. And if you're lucky you can probably find one for 140-ish.

One call to Amazon (1-800-201-7575) fixed that, and they removed the 4.50 shipping charge, and I got it for 16.29 total after tax. I wasn't interested in the game before, but for 16 bucks I figured what the hell -- even if it won't arrive for another 6 weeks.

I believe she just looked up the first game on the list which is the others. Target is the 3rd one down so if they click a different version of the game assuming its the same, they will waive your shipping fee.

Yep... there is some lazy employees at the Circuit City's here. I once PM'ed a month old EB ad... the employee never looked at the date, the rest of the ad, hell I don't even think she knew what company she was price matching.

That % off logo is just a script. No human put it there. All autiomatic based on list price and selling price.

The website is actually Target through Amazon... it's YMMV on CC pm'ing it because it depends on the cashier. Get one that dosen't care, and you'll have no problem.

I've done $20 dollar price adjusts all the time at Circuit City... they never had to call a manager. Hell, I've even done 30 - 35 dollar price adjusts. Even though they aren't supposed to price adjust Amazon of any type, I guarantee that the "customer service reps" don't care enough to actually go through the trouble of checking it out.

Like I said earlier, I've price matched month old ad's at Circuit City no problem... they didn't even check to see what store it was (I had the page opened right to the gmae... it was one of those in store EB ad's). Hell, it could have been a Fry's ad that someone mailed me for all they know.

The point is that just because corporate lays down a guideline, dosen't mean the employees will follow it. That's why these deals are generally YMMV... you either get the CSR that dosen't care about their job, or dosen't even know what the product is, or you get the smart one who knows it's the wrong price and they don't PM Amazon.

All I'm going to tell them, if they even bother to ask, is that it's Target going through Amazon, in which case they'll be like "Oh yea, Target, ok no problem".

I know the cashier I use for all these YMMV pricematch's... she seems to not really like her job, so hopefully she's working on Wednesday if I don't snag a copy from EB (which is what I'll probably do, now that the Nintendogs coupon finally showed up).

They have pulled down the target thing and you cant place it from target anymore. they didnt even offer me a 5 buck code.. they did say that Target can Cancell the order at any time even up to the day before it ships. So i say expect to get your Cancell notice Come Oct 1


Update: i Called them back to ask about another shippment and how they are saying THEY MUST SELL YOU THAT GAME AT THAT PRICE. If your quoted a price they must sell it to you.... Got the e-mail yesterday as well. Earlier in the day, however, I was able to pricematch at Best Buy, so I picked up 2 of them for my sister and I. They couldnt do the $14.99 without giving me the $5 gift card for the sale this week, so they charged me $19.99 each and gave me 2 $5 gift cards which I used on the mispriced Ringu Anthology 4 disc set for $22.99 at Best Buy. Couldn't use the Gamepro Coupon with this deal because it was one or the other. I really couldnt believe they pricematched the printout.
