I'm sure gamespot and IGN will list this on their news, but just saw this on the morning update. My guess is this is Halo 1, Halo 2 and the Halo 2 expansion pack for $59.99. A possible bargain for no one that has any of the Halos, or is getting a XBox in the near future.

Edit: It's taking me to main EBgames page, I had to copy and paste the link my browser.

$60 for all three of them isn't a bad price, figuring the cheapest I've seen all of those three new, recently has been:

$14.99 - Halo
$29.99 - Halo 2
$14.99 - Halo 2 Map pack

$60 hits it right on the mark.

Sounds right to me, Halo and Halo 2 expansion are 19.99 each, and Halo 2 should hit Platinum soon, so 60.00 sounds right, but 50 would sound better. ;)

yea, i dont think its much of a bargain if the bundle pack is the same as buying each one individually...unless there was something free with it. hmm...quick thought, sorry its off topic, but imagine halo and halo 2 were light gun games...

The map pack is mainly aimed at people without Live. Who, I assume, are people without any form of broadband, because if you can have Live and don't... you're really missing the point of the Xbox.

They can't make the excuse that they have a live price feed from ebgames.com this time. They'll probably just wait until the official announcement.

Wow so they are packing all of what most with an xbox have already. This is stupid to do this. Unless they add something extra to it I wouldn't think this would sell all to well. They are taking the two biggest games on the system and packing them together when like I said most already have them of have the xbox.

A great pack but who doesn't have at least one of the Halo games if you own an Xbox. $49.99 would have been a better price point. $59.99 is a bit steep.

I think $19.99 is a bit ridiculous for a couple of extra multiplayer maps. (You can buy a complete game for that same money!) The $49.99 package price should come from having $10 cut from the map pack's asking price. :D

So there are actually people out there with no Halo 1 or 2 and not on Live and new the mappack?

Well, this bundle is coming out in October, so Microsoft is probably thinking people that currently don't own an Xbox will buy this pack when they pick up the Xbox 360.

$40 would be a good price for that.

And Halo Double Pack would be a good name...

Also, I guess the rumor about Halo being installed on the XB360 were false.

I know you're running on 56k, but do you have any friends with broadband? If so, just take your Xbox to their house, use a 2-month trial to make an account, and download the maps when they become free at the end of the month.

No, I don't. Nobody around here has broadband. We all convene at my house for some 4 player Juggernaut usually.

I imagine the map pack will PLUMMET in value (on the 2nd hand market if not in most stores) once they go free on Live anyway.

I wish I never bought the map packs now. I didn't know they would be free to download at the end of the month. That would have saved me 20 bucks. Just makes me hate Microsoft even more now.

Well, they said from the get-go that they would eventually be free when the maps were officially announced at the beginning of summer. It's not as though they kept it a secret. ;)

If it helps ease the pain, you spent the retail price of Mario Kart: Super Circuit on something you would have gotten free anyway.

I didn't know this. Of course, I'm not really a big Halo 2 player either and hadn't planned on picking up the Map Pack anyway. Now I'll get it for free. Thanks! :D
