What games did you feel foolish about buying at launch but are glad about now?

Well when I bought ZOE 2 and beat it 5 days later I was very upset (then again I spent 4 more days after unlocking secrets). Now ZOE 2 is fairly hard too find so in the end it turned out too be a worthy purchased.

A game I regretted buying on the first day was Gitaroo Man. I enjoyed it yes, but after a few weeks the price on it was dropping everywhere (saw it for $20 at alot of places and of course CC had it for only $5 at one point). A year later someone mentioned how it was now "rare" and well I didn't feel so bad anymore for dropping 40 on it the first day.

The same could probably be said about any Working Designs RPGs since I always tend to buy those $70 Super Packs they have for pre-order on all their titles. At least those more or less retain their value and they all end up being fun to play-through.

Resident Evil 4. I beat that game four times, at LEAST. I felt foolish because I figured it'd be the same old stuff. Resident Evil games have the tendency to drop like a rock.. glad I got it at launch.

Disgaea. I got it for Christmas two years ago and didn't touch it for almost 9 months, but now that I know I could have paid 100 bucks or more for it on ebay nowadays, I feel much better for asking for it.

Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee and Alien Hominid.

I am a big Godzilla fan, But I wasn't sure what to expect from Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee. I actually reserved it which was a smart thing cause the GameStop in my area only got 2 copies in for the two people who reserved it.

Alien Hominid I picked up the day it came out without knowing about the Flash game on Newgrounds.

I reserved DAMM as well, huge godzilla fan myself, dont regret buying that at launch either because it filled that gaming void I had.

Bangi-o for the DC, I got it for $30 when it came out. It was twards the time all DC games started droping in price and I wanted to see if I could get it cheaper. But everyone on the DC boards said it was going to be rare and I pulled the trigger. Sure enough it was an amazing game and really worth that 30 I spent.
