EDIT: As a budget title though! Doubtful.....

pretty weak collection imo, other than klonoa, those games are really cheap. namco could learn alot from sega and midway..

True, but it would be worth it for Klonoa alone (if it wasn't a high priced collection).

true but i already have klonoa (and 4 of the 5 gmes listed even..) i mean if namco wants to sell some discs, pile the games on there.

for ps1 they have:
4 ridge racers
3 tekkens
2 tales of destiny
2 time crisis'
3 point blanks
3 air combats
SOUL EDGE!!
Xevious 3D/G+
2 pac man games (world and maze madness)
5 namco museums (ARE YOU LISTENING NAMCO!!)

mr driller is a nice title that is usually under the radar, but like i said, already got it ^^

EDIT: forgot tales of enertia (sp) that would be more work translating it though

EDIT 2: basically if i took the time to look im sure i could come up with 30 namco ps1 games, heres what namco needs to do. 5 collections, 6 games per collection, including one namco museum volume on each disc, and price them at $20

you know, if they wanted to do something silly like make money or something...

I agree w/ punq, those games are not all that hard to track down, but aside from Klonoa, who'd want to pay 19.99 to play Ridge Racer or Tekken from ps1?

Been posted. (http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=45751)

Though it seems doubtful that it'll make it here since the game's already out in Japan and there's been no word at all about a release here. I'm hoping they will bring it over, but it's just not looking good.

You know there's going to come a point when compilations no longer mean anything and we're getting close to it now.

Why would anyone want old pixelated racing, fighting and flight games? We're getting RR6, Tekken 5 was just out, Ace/Air Combat is a GH and has been shelved (I haven't seen any news on a new one.), Klonoa is NOT in enough demand to warrant a purchase of this and Mr. Driller??? Isn't that out for every handheld known to man? Why would you want the originals of these games when the sequels are still going strong?

The reason the Atari/Midway/Sega/Capcom and even the Namco museums sell so well is there are no more Asteroids, Centipede, Battlezone, Smash TV, Dig Dug, Golden Axes or Forgotten Worlds (My personal fave, that's preference right there.) being made anymore.

The only PSone games that are worth compiling are the RPG's that no one can find easily. Their "Tales" if released by themselves with 1 & 2 on the disc I'd gladly drop $20 on it. Maybe... just maybe.... Konami will see this and do a Suikoden I & II disc. Nah..... that would make sense.
