I did a search but didn't turn anything up.

How do GBA games look on the DS? I'm on the fence about buying one, but I really want to play the new Castlevania. I'm expecting $200 tax refund from the government because my employer messed up my taxes last year and I'd figure I'd blow it.

They look good, pretty much like the SP, you know, with the backlight and all. They're louder than they are on the GBA, too.

They are crisper and slightly smaller on the DS. I MUCH prefer it...and it helps that you get stereo without head phones

I like GBA games better on the DS. The graphics seem too streched-out on the SP, so I actually prefer the smaller size. A warning though, the DS cannot play original Gameboy or Gameboy Color games like the SP can.

I definitely noticed the smaller size right away. It's not that much smaller, but I guess it's noticeable. As far as the quality though, the games look amazing. I played Castlevania: CotM on both and I could see far more detail on the DS than on the SP. Also remember the SP is not truly backlit, it just shines the light up from the bottom of the screen, so you get an eerie glow on the ceiling when you play in a dark room.

The DS is far superior. The DS screen is backlit while the SP is sidelit. I went from playing a GBA game on the DS to playing it on the SP, and the difference was amazing. I couldn't believe how much brighter and more detailed the games look on the DS.
