How many units does it take to seperate the real players from the fake?
If anyone could provide launch numbers from the last generation... i would be greatful.

It's hard to say you know.. the DC I think had a very successful launch, especially in the US, but the PS2 throttled it later.

Generally the first 1,000,000 are a given. You have giant gaming nerds like us that buy every console known to man.

Unfortunately, hardware manufacturers often have trouble coming up with the initial million consoles to put on store shelves, so you likely won't see the full 10 million systems even manufactured for months after the initial launch.

Perhaps a successful launch isnt all thats its cracked up to be.
How about, first company to regain losses incurred at launch wins.
