I've been dying to get a DS since playing and seeing all the amazing games set to be released for it when I went to E3. I was hoping to get the bundle with Mario 64, and now that I have a job, I can afford it. However, EB Games' site does not list the system as being bundled with the game. What's the word on that?

Officially, no. Otherwise, you can get lucky. Check walmarts...ive found plenty of Blue DS's with pre-packaged Mario 64

Shit... Figures they'd end it before I get money. But I geuss I'll check Wal-Mart and otehr such fine retail locations tonight. Thank you for your quick response- The sooner I start looking, the better chance I have of finding one.

They ended it because they lowered the price.

There was the rumour Metriod budle in the fall, but of cause, surprise surprise, the game got delayed.

Yes but between the free Mario 64 promotion and the price drop there was a few weeks with nothing. I bought mine during that time, how exciting for me! An extra $20 and NO free Mario 64, I rule!!!!

Even during release weeks Wal-Mart had huge stocks of unsold DS and PSP systems.

Wal-Mart does not move handhelds very fast, so they are your best bet. They are the most likely store to have a large leftover stock of a limited edition package.
