Ditto. I can still wear Nike, but if you hit the outlet mall or clearance sections you can still get them for $40.

that's true. i recently bought these old school sneakers off of ebay for less than 5. i don't htink i've spent more than $35 (allen iverson reeboks) for shoes in the past 5 years! :)

I bought a pair of Avia's off a street bum named Ron in NYC for like $2.00. they were like almost new. I brought em home washed em up and to this day they are still mighty comfy
