Ok I was selling two different copies of Grand Theft Auto San Andreas on PS2. And someone with 0 feedback bought one but hasn't paid for it. I've sent Ebay invoices and Paypal invoices and regular emails, no response. So then I just checked my Ebay a few minutes ago and the same person bought the OTHER Grand Theft Auto San Andreas.
I Fucking love people with zero feedback, aren't they great? I mean we all started there and we seemed to make it fine, why does it seem like anyone that is new now is just a complete and utter moron.

So now she has bought two of the same game and won't respond or pay for either.

I'm wondering do you think she's Fucking with me or just doesn't know what the hell she's doing.

Stupid people like this should be lined up and shot.

Maybe you should try making more vague thread titles.

Thanks for contributing nothing, like it seems like most of your post do. was another topic you posted in, didn't complain there, why here?

Just file two NPB complaints. You get your listing fees back and that person gets two strikes.

Add them to your blocked bidders list before they can bid on anything else you have up for auction

...someone with 0 feedback bought one but hasn't paid for it...

The obvious answer is to leave them some feedback. :D

I know I guess I was just wanted to complain and say what happened like many other topics like this do.

It's one thing that she bought one copy and isn't paying for it, but then another one of the same game too? And I have to wait the seven days out right before I can file a non-payment complaint right? it's been 4 days with no responses or payment on the first one, and then she bought the other one today.

What ebay needs to do is give us sellers some fucking protection from fuckers like this chick that "bought" both your GTA:SAs! The best part is now, according to ebay (as per my last go 'round with a non-payer) the transaction is complete, so SHE CAN LEAVE YOU FEEDBACK!!!!! Yeah your read that right! The zero feedback whore can scan screw you on the sales AND screw up your feedback rating that you've worked so fucking hard to build up.

You can set your listings to not allow people with X amount of feeback to bid.

i set mine at at least 5 positives

The first one was cheaper but without the instruction booklet, then she bought the more expensive one with the instruction booklet.

I got her contact info from Ebay and called her and left a message.

Blustrk98 exactly that's what pisses me off. They can just screw with you and leave you feedback and not even pay for the item and it counts against you the same. I have 160 rating 100% and would be pissed.

awesome how do you do that? I thought I set all the restrictions that were allowed on Ebay. (i.e. must have a paypal account) and some other stupid ones. But if I can do that that would be GREAT.

Can you please tell me how?

And you can pay Ebay $20 to take the feedback off your fb rating, I'm not sure if that's cost effective but they do provide this service.

Then you'll out $40 totally if she leave you 2 negs.

VidgamesgivemeA_D_D
08-25-2005, 05:28 PM
are you serious ychanus? you can buy your way out of negative feedback.

So some seller could list an item that costs $500, get paid and never send it, get negative feedback and pay $20 to take it off?

That's retarded.

How many days has it been since auction's end?

VidgamesgivemeA_D_D
08-25-2005, 05:30 PM
4 since the first one, she bought the other (same) game today.

Which is what got me really ticked off.

Sitting there waiting 4 days for no payment/response, then they buy ANOTHER identical game.

I really would love to know what's going through the persons head.

np!

they make it sorta hard to find..

go to My Ebay
then scroll down the list of categories on the left side til you see My Account

under My Account, choose 'preferences'

the very last 'selling preference' you can choose is 'buyer requirements'

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BuyerBlockPreferences

there you can set the minimum feedback rating

you can also block based on country, people with unpaid item strikes against them and a few other ways.

also, make sure you laugh in an evil fashion and rub your hands together as you block those bastardos from ever bidding on your items again. :)

nice!

Sigh, thanks alot. However it's not what you think it is. Check it out.

Buyers who may bid on several of my items and not pay for them
Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought 1 of my items in the last 10 days. Only apply this block to buyers who have a feedback score of 5 or lower.
Consider selecting this requirement if you are selling expensive items and don't want to sell over a certain number to any single buyer. Learn more about how this requirement works (http://pages.ebay.com/help/sell/contextual/understand-buyer-requirement.html).

Block buyers who are currently winning or have bought 2 of my items in the last 10 days. So that means you can only block them after they have bought some of your items, not just right off the bat. I already had this restriction set.

However, I just realized you can change it to 1 instead of 2 if I would of had that set she wouldn't of been able to buy the 2nd GTA: SA, only the first.

You should wait longer than four days before determining that she's trying to screw you over. Not everyone uses PayPal, and not everyone has all the time in the day to take care of these things.

And really, what's the problem with waiting?

I'd say your right if I had gotten at least a response.

No responses after 4 days and then buys another one, wouldn't you wonder WTF is going on too?

I allow money orders and Paypal, but she would have to email me to get my address to send a money order, so that excuse doesn't cut it. She should have at least responded by now.

And by policy the buyer and seller are supposed to contact each other within 48 hours. I've been doing all the contacting with nothing from the buyer.

Yep. eBay will never let you outright block bidders with 0 FB IMO as it is not in their interest to shut new users out from a % of listings.

I'd say your right if I had gotten at least a response.

No responses after 4 days and then buys another one, wouldn't you wonder WTF is going on too?

Same thing happened to me a few weeks ago on a Spongebob DVD I sold. The buyer was (and still is) a Zer0. I E-mailed, sent invoice, sent reminder, than a final E-mail. After a FULL week of waiting, and this was a BIN mind you, so it's not like the buyer didn't know they won right away, I got a Paypal payment. (but never a single E-mail)

So it's possible they're just having problems setting up their Paypal account or they don't speak English, but you might get paid. I was pissed too, and now I know why my buyer has bought about 3 other things besides my item, and still has a Zer0. I won't be giving her feedback for that transaction.

If it turns out to be a bad deal for you, here's my suggestion on feedback: wait 90 days and on the 90th day (mark your calendar), leave negative feedback. You don't want to blemish your 100%, and after 90 days it's near fucking impossible to leave feedback. The system deletes most of the auction info, including the auction page and feedback request. You'll be safe from them dropping a negative back on you out of spite.

I got her contact info from Ebay and called her. I left a message, then surprisingly she called back last night. She acted like she had no idea she had purchased the second one even though she did. So I was cool about it and told her I'd let her off the hook from that one. She said she'd go ahead and pay for the other one after we got off the phone, well she still hasn't. And I had to file a mutual agreement unpaid item dispute for the one she didn't want and I told her to go ahead and agree to it and she would not longer be responsible for it, she said she'd do that right away too. Hasn't done it. Maybe she'll do it in the next few days. *shrugs*

If I was an impatient tempermental man, I would call her back and be like "bitch, what is your deal" but I'll play it cool. She'll still get two unpaid item strikes if she doesn't pay for the one she wanted and if she doesn't agree to to the mutual withdraw of the other one. So it's all on her now.
