It must be a baby, or baby and stunted, miniature type of bonsai. What kind is it?
I love bonsais, I have one that we bought about 8 years ago (at it's size, it's probably about 18 years old total), but my mother was taking care of it and almost killed it (only sparse leaves on half of the tree survived, and the same exact leaves had been there for years since no new ones had grown), mainly by watering it like once or twice a week for 8 years, and then just like a normal plant. I started taking care of it a few months ago though, and the thing has grown very quickly, and even started sprouting a new branch on the previously dead side. They need to be watered daily and completely soaked.
They have flowering and fruit bonsais too, but I never see any for a reasonable price.
Ya know, I just realize how I use this forum to talk about the things no one else I know cares about.

I had a bonsai but it died. They IMO are like having a pet. Lots of care.
