It was released today in Japan, is there any chance of a US release?
I really enjoyed BoF 1 & 2, and I hear that this is better than both of them, and I haven't played an PRG since the last Pokemon game.
So, is there going to be any US love or will I just have to pass on this game (I don't have the patience to play console RPGs, I only play them on handhelds so the PS1 version is out of the question).

I really loved BoF3 for the Playstation - I definitely would pick it up in a second if it came out for PSP.

Agreed. One of my favorite RPG's of all time.
BoFIII is a great game also, but it lacks what BoFIV flairs.

Glad to see that someone else like IV much more then III. Most people piss on BoFIV and say BoFIII is 10x better poop on them :booty:
IMO BoFII is one of the best RPG ever made, if not the best.

I was looking on IGN and saw a preview for The Legend of Heroes, releasing in September.
It looks really fun, and unlike BoF or other PSP RPG games the graphics are actually drawn specifically for the PSP.
It's very sexy.

Isn't the PSP region free for games?

I am reading conflicting reports for The Legend of Heroes release date, IGN said yesterday that Bandai announced a september release yesterday, but Gamespot has October 1st as the release date (nothing backing it up, though).
Any idea when it comes out?

I was just looking at getting BoF3 on Playstation and it still costs more than you would think. I would love to see it come to the US.

Actually, that is changing. I remember reading a blurb in Game Informer (the one with King Kong on the cover), that actually states games are now using region encoding techniques.. I believe the article stated Midnight Club 3 is the first to do it.

They have region codes, but they cannot be enforced.
Sony would have to allow region enforcement in games via a firmware update, and they are not going to do that.
They already put so much into hyping the region free stuff, and the only reason movies are locked is because of the international movie organizations icluding the MPAA.
