I've been looking at there website and they have a pretty decent selection and prices for the most part. Has anyone ever bought from them before?

They are legit and I have never had any problems with them, however their shipping rates are a bit high.

I had a B&M "Game Express" by me but they went out of business... not sure if it's the same company as this website, but the store was really nice. Had lots of imports and soundtracks and whatnot and generally good prices. A real gamer's game store.

Heck, even the GameStop employees down the block told me to shop there. Although opening down the block from GameStop was probably a bad idea, in retrospect.

You meant the one in front of the NYC station? I know that GameExpress is exactly the one online. I used to buy games from them and no problems at all. Very nice.

BU, do you live in New York? Did GExpress on 32nd street go out of business?

The one I knew was in Nassau County, close to the Roosevelt Field Mall.

there's at least 2 the one across the street from manhattan mall (32nd st) and another in the dekalb avenue area, although I don't think the awning says game express I do remember a while back it was.

They are the biggest independent in NYC and I think he has about 12 stores total. He has been around for about 12-15 yrs I think. His family owns just about every NYC independent game store. He has aunts, cousins, and such that run his stores. I know lots of people that work for him and shop at my store. In general they are good stores with solid pricing. I don't have a bad thing to to really say about them but I wish I did. He runs a pretty clean shop without bootlegs or stolen crap. I really hate them for being so good. Easily my biggest competition in the city. Every independent hates them as a competitor. Every time I think I see a good neighborhood for a store....a GE pops up.

Without starting a new thread on the subject, I just wanted to report on www.gameexpress.com. At first glance, their cheap prices threw up a red flag for me, but I bit the bullet since I could find only positive responses about them. Let me just say, these guys rock!

Low prices, fast as hell shipping, I'm a total customer for life. The only thing I say they need to work on is maybe a good pre-order system, but their prices and shipping (as well as fast emails with tracking numbers) can not be beat. I'll be using these guys from now on...

the sites legit , but the NY tax & shipping makes it pointless for me...great for out of state buying various things...
