Has everyone noticed that the coded you are getting aer mostly letters? I think that all the codes under the caps are numbers. During the drawing, if they pick a mostly numbers code, they choose it to be the winner, if they chose a code that is mostly letters, they throw it away and don't let it win. That is my theory. Also, The only CAG 'possible' winner worked in a factory and used mostly soda cap codes. That is my theory.

That's cool. I just was wondering because I had read in the pre-order thread that ou had the 100 bucks down at Gamerush. You probably would be able to get it first from Gamerush because based on what I saw on the TV Spot for the contest they won't be shipping them out until around Christmas time. Even though it is slated to come out toward the beginning of November.

I wish I could play along and have a pre-order but all of my extra cash from now to the end of the year will be going toward paying down the credit card debt that my girlfriend has created. Damn about the email thing, if you have a bunch of codes though i'd personally save them for about a week and let everyone blow their loads and just throw yours in against the legit caps I see the number of entries falling fast. I've been watching certain time slots over periods of time (like 24 hours) to judge the changes in the numbers of entries. I've noticed that a few time slots (that were in between 12-24 hours away) have decreased the entries from 400-1600 range down to the 200-400 range. I wonder if they are canceling these codes now, or if people tried to do it under multiple yahoo accounts and were canceled. All I know, is that at least 5-10 slots that had high volume, no longer do...

Also, does anyone know whether winners get the core package or the premium? I think its the premium cause in their faq one question was is the 360 backwards compatible and the answer was simply yes. And if it was core, i guess u could say it is technically backwards compatible just with an added hd, but i doubt theyd do that to us.

It also says that the prize package.... the 360, a game, and some mountain dew crap is worth $580 bucks so I think, unless they're grossly overstating it, that it's the premium package.

Yeah, I'm really happy about this. Mountain Dew could've easily given away the cheaper version and the contest would still be just as popular....nobody would ever have known the difference. It's definately really cool of them to give away the expensive version.
