I have the 6 Time-Life DVDs also, but I figured since B&B is my favorite show of all-time and the price, I'd bite. Hopefully this isn't a mistake where they will just cancel the order.

I found this on dvdempire.com:

14 episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head available for the first time on DVD!
11 Original Music Videos with Beavis And Butt-Head commentary
Director's Cut Episodes
Taint Of Greatness: The Journey Of Beavis And Butt-Head
Beavis & Butthead Appearances and Interviews

It seems like a great price for it. I already have half of the Timelife set. Never got the other half because they stopped printing it. I will most likely get this as long as most of the episodes are ones I don't own. The features seem good though.

It actually contains 40 episodes, not 14

Well, Amazon lists the runtime as 214. If that is 40 episodes, that is only about 5 1/3 minutes per episode.

Even at 14 episodes, that is only about 15 1/4 minutes per episode. I guess Amazon could be wrong, though.

Anyone know which music videos are being included? I don't know why they can't just release this show in small volumes uncut. That way, they can release the show uncut and charge enough on each volume to pay for the licensing.

I have been hoping for a box set of each season and not the best of for a long time. I have the best of from time life and noticed that the show wasn't all that great with out the videos. One or two of the best of DVDs have videos on them and it is the best one. So is this going to be another best of or is it going to be season one?

They are still negotiating the music videos. Right now they are targeting around 11, but that could change. And a little over five minutes per episode sounds about right, after removing commercial breaks and the videos.

Did the Time Life set contain all the original music videos?

Is run time WITH special features in this case?

Anyways, mind to point out where you saw it will be 40 episodes?

i wouldn't mind owning all the B&B episodes - the Mike Judge collection says '40 episodes never seen before on DVD'. HOPEFULLY thats the truth - the Time Life collection has like 85.

I have 150 of the 200 episodes complete with videos, but only saved in VCD quality. I capped them myself when they were on MTV2 a couple of years ago. I have tried to make a DVD on them, but every program I use seems to crash. Beavis and Butthead RULE.

I'm sure it will be 40 episodes. If you watch just the cartoon without the music videos, they're about 5 mins per episode. This is pretty sweet, I've been wanting to get a good DVD set of Beavis and Butthead. Hopefully they'll include some good music videos.

to me one of the best parts of that series was the music videos...
