This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally.
The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision.
Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous.

You are in Florida, Miami to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury.
Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He is fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer . . . somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's George W. Bush! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to pull him under.
You have two options: you can save the life of G.W. Bush or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of one of the world's most powerful men. So here's the question, and please give an honest answer:

Would you select high contrast color film, or would you go with the classic simplicity of black and white?

The way newspapers are these days you really have to go for the color, no one runs black and white photos on the cover anymore. Besides you can always remove the color in photoshop later.

I would need to know what I'm preventing. If I could save him without putting myself in danger then I think I would (basically same reaction as anyone else, but I'd hopefully get a boatload of money from him/government or, if not, then I'm pretty sure I could get it out of the media and other sources), since I'd be concerned that I'd feel guilty afterward, and letting someone die would be a pretty big guilt. If I knew I was preventing something, like a war, overturning of roe vs. wade etc. by letting him die, then I would. But, with cheney behind him it would change that much (except the president wouldn't hate gays anymore).

But, I'd go with color and make sure that I got credit for it.

I would take a picture of myself saving him.
That way I can look forward to a cushy job that I am not qualified for...like FEMA Director!

I'd have to think about it. They'd probably find some way to charge you with something serious, especially if you have pictures of him floundering.

Don't sell yourself short Cheapy. You may not have worked at a horse show, but running CAG more than qualifies you to run FEMA.

I'd save him, but only so he can indure the torment and anguish the future holds for him.

The right supposedly believes in "personal responsibility" and no helping hands.

Let him pull himself up by his bootstraps.

I'd go with black and white, mirroring his way of thinking.

I'd get a "faith-based" organization to pray for him and I would take a digital photo that would provide many hours of enjoyment in Photoshop.
