Nice - I've been looking for a deal on this set. Watched it the first time by borrowing a friend's copy. I mentioned to him the other night that I want to watch it again, and when he offered to let me borrow it I told him, "No, I must own that one." Only problem is I don't really have the cash to blow right now.

Hrm...wonder how long that will last?

I think it's regular price was $30.00 at DDD but $26.00 after the 20% code and free shipping there also.

Heh. I saw Serenity before seeing Firefly.

Serenity was good... For this price, I'll finally buy Firefly.

I'm still not sure on this... $30 bucks for only 14 episodes is still too pricey for my tastes, espically since I can get other Season sets for different shows at $30 that include 22 to 24 episodes.

Well you can always hold out and hope there is a deal the week of 25 to Oct 1st, the week Serenity comes out.

I'd probably bite at $20. Definitely at $15.

It's worth every penny. Since I got the set in June I've watched each episode three times.

I bought this at the DDD sale (it was like $26), having never seen an episode of the show. Never saw any of Whedon's other work, either. I was just told it was so good, and I figured at that price, why not. Having no idea what the show was even about, I watched and loved it. I've seen them all twice now.

When it was on, based on the limited ads I saw, I thought it was another sci-fi space show. Imagine my surprise, upon the beginning of the first episode, to find it's actually a western.

Don't worry, it's totally worth it. A review (http://www.dvdtalk.com/reviews/read.php?ID=8581).
