Just saw it on the news and thought it was interesting. Maybe some of you who have the time and are brave enough might want to check it out. Supposedly you can earn up to $150 a month just by listening to the telemarketers when they call you - form 20¢ to 50¢ per minute - you set the amount you want to get paid. Their gonna call you anyways so might as well get paid to listen to their BS?

they don't call me. not since i registered at www.donotcall.gov
^^ That list really does seem to work. The calls I got went down tremendously after the list went into effect. That and the fact that I have caller ID and don't pick up the phone if I don't recognize the number means I haven't talked to a telemarketer in a very long time :)

No 10 cents per minute? I'm not that important and my time isn't worth the 20 cents.

So far this has been the one good thing Bush has done in office. I never get telemarketing calls now.

Hahaha, isn't that sad when most people believe that the best thing their president has done for them is to cut down on their telemarketing calls? LOL.
I'm not being an ass Mr. Bad, I just really think it's funny.

You want to know what beats the government do not call list?

I used this before the Fed DNC List and this removes you from unwanted mail and calls - I see you can now be added for SPAM protection. I have not triued that one yet.

I would do it. I would just set the phone down and record myself mumbling "yes" every 5 or so minutes. CA CHING! $
ZING!
^ thought i would try it out for size because it seems to be a fad at CAG.

I work in News and we did a report on this type of thing. People that sign up for this can make either $50 - $150 per month. Is it worth it?

Sorry, didn't read all the way through your first post. But you probably saw the package I assisted on. What a small world.

I'd never do it. To make between $50 and $150 a month, you'd have to sit through 100 to 300 of these calls. That's 3 to 10 a day in an average month. I can't even stand getting one or two a day. I checked out that website and was fairly amused by this:

Those people seem way too happy, especially that guy in the middle. Guess that 50 cents is really expanding the ol' pocketbook, eh?
"Oh boy, just 1000 more calls and I can buy that dirtbike! Yippee!!"
I don't think any amount of money is worth this, especially a measely fifty cents.

Actually the website says you typically can ask for between 10 and 50 cents per minute. Might be worth it to put in 1 or 2 bucks and see if you get any calls. At least this way iof you do get any calls you know you aren't wasting your time.

When you receive a CASH OFFER from an Advertiser and it is acceptable, you will follow the instructions and prompts contained in the Offer and conduct the trade.
After you have met the conditions of the trade, Your Adnoodle Account will be credited the Offer Amount you accepted.
doesnt seem like you get money unless you actually buy something from the advertiser...

Can I pretend to be Lil' John and yell out "OKAAAY" or "YEAAAHHH"?
You guys do realize that that is $30 an hour? I would do that if where I lived was actually my household.

i was thinking the same thing its not just 50 cents

Even better if you taperecord it and just play it each time the telemarketers call. Then you get $.50 free each minute with no effort.
