in case you didn't know the jerseys from the NBA relief game are going to be auctioned off Monday which is today at NBA.com I can't seem to find a link to it at their site right now, but I'm sure it'll be up come day time. All proceeds will go to the hurricane relief.
Just giving a heads up, just wish I had the money to spend on one cuz you know the prices will be in the thousands, I have like only a couple hundred to blow. Maybe I'll get lucky and tyronne lue's make shift jersey will go for cheap.

Ya know, I haven't really been too "moved" by the whole hurricane thing, call me cold, heartless, jaded and so forth, but the massive loss of human life doesn't bother me. In fact I think these sorts of things are the planet's way of attempting to control the population.
But, watching that game today I was really affected by it for the first time. Seeing how much the NBA players were willing to go out of their way to try and bring just a little bit of happiness back into these peoples' lives really opened my eyes to the whole situation.
Kenny Smith's vision to organize this game and all the players that were willing to participate on such short notice really gives me hope for the human race, especially when most of the media coverage in New Orleans had been focused so heavily upon the looting and random violence.
So, hats off to Kenny Smith & the NBA players that participated, over time as the wounds from the hurricane begin to heal and these people are able to put their lives back together; I'm sure all of those poor kids will remember that game and the day's events for the rest of their lives.
My apologies for rambling a bit, but I'm going through posting withdrawals or something.
