I picked up my copy today from Best Buy, and although I have to go to work soon I played through the little intro. The game is very charming and totally worth 34.99 just for the amazing graphics (they are nothing short of beautiful).

The reviewers are saying it's not quite as good as Star Ocean 3, but SO3 didn't grab me in the first 5 minutes as this game has.

So who's picking it up? What do you think, etc.?

I'm interested in it, but I can wait for a price drop. Buying it now wouldn't do any good, since I don't have my PS2 at the time.

The game has my attention, but I, too, am going to wait for a price drop. As it's a Square title, the odds of it going down are quite good.

I'm picking it up after a price drop, too. Plus isn't it like Star Ocean? I can just borrow that from my boyfriend and I'll buy this game later if I like it.

So how is this game, i am interested in it, but is it worth $40? The only problem I see from videos is that the fighting system seems way to simple...is this true?

I have been eyeing this game since it came out, but I want to wait for it to drop in price, but there are not many games I ever pick up on there launch day, or even within the first couple months. But I am very tempted to pick this one up tonight.

Do it, it's very charming.

The battles are simple (I'm only one mission in) but the environments are so well-designed and fun to explore that I don't really care. The menus are easy to navigate and the game as a whole has kept me wanting to play.
