So tempting.... I'm undecided. I've got over $1,000 sitting around my desk in the form of over $100 in loose change collected over the past 2+ years, $685 in the form of reimbursement checks from work related expenses and $320 in the "emergency cash drawer" of my desk. Hmmmm....

EDIT: damn that's a lot of money to have laying around... I better spend it or bank it before the cleaning lady finds out about it...

I want the blue one.

The blue one is not in the USA.

Damn Nintendo for tempting me to buy THE SAME DAMN THING FOR THE SIXTH TIME IN MY LIFE.

Even the packaging is so beautiful. :(

Can you just buy the blue faceplate eventually?

Dude, save your money. If you absolutely must have a GBA nad you don't already own one, just get a DS. Don't spend money just to spend it. If you really want something new and better, get a 360 or wait for a PS3/Revolution.

EDIT: vvvvvvv Same time post vvvvvvvv

No way, I'll get one when it's $30. For $100.... hell no, if I had extra money to throw away I still wouldn't pay that much for old-ass GBA hardware. For $100 it should have mp3 functionality, or be BC with GB/GBC, or have a slightly bigger screen, or a free game, or something!

I was wondering how long it would take for someone to respond with this. 1 post. A new record.

No, and anyone who buys it is fueling the same forces that cause endless double, triple, and quadruple dips in the DVD industry.

I won't, unfortunately the screen is too small for me. Thats why I don't play my SP anymore and why I didn't get a DS.

Can you read this? Okay, now cut the size of the text in half and then I ask you, can you read that?! If you can go waste your $100 on a Micro. If you can't, keep your damn money, or better yet send it to me. I'm sure if you just have $100 laying around that you MUST spend I can give you much more bank for your buck than a rehashed, smaller, unimpressive GBA micro.

"But but but... ohhhh the screen is bright."

Who the hell cares?

It's so damn cool, but I can't justify it for 100 bones. Just can't, dammit.

I can't decide on keeping a SP I just bought, getting a micro, or getting a blue DS with mario. I don't know what I'm going to do right now :S

For those of us who have gone hands-on with the Micro, the opinion tends to be, on the whole, much more favorable of it. It's a product you have to hold to understand its appeal. At the very least, you can understand the positive response better. I loved it when I tried it at E3, and I fully plan on getting one. Sure, the SP is small, but this is so perfect that I can have it in my pocket at all times.

It'll just be nice when people quit with the negativity. Let people like what they like. If you try something with an open mind and don't like it, more power to you. We have multiple products available in order to appeal to as many people as possible.

quit with the negativity.

i do believe that people would change their minds when they actually see and hold the little system but many people (including my self) are not sold on it because of its price tag.

so the negativity is justified not just some mindless ranting that someone people do around here.

I won't be. I have a DS and for the few Pokemon GB's I have I can just whip out the dusty GBA.

Well, I was going to get either a SP or Micro. I decided to get the DS now. I used to have the old ugy titanium one, the blue one is looking pretty good right now. A black DS would be nice, but I'm digging the blue right now.
