What they're probably doing is eliminating everybody and just hiring back who they want with their own G4 contracts. Besides, if you've ever watched TechTV you'd realize real fast most of their people don't have a damn clue what they're really talking about anyway.

I remember reanting a really bad eurotrash film called "Razorblade Smile" or something like that. It was so bad that I remember about ten minutes into the film my mom came home and I felt embarrassed that she saw me actualy watching it.

i always wanted to get g4tv, i thought it would b cool to watch a gaming channel but dish network doesn't offer it. then the news came off both stations combining, fine i lose some tech tv but i gain g4tv. and now... they remove the whole tech tv staff. i dont bilieve this, tech tv is basically my faviorte channel and now this. fuck comcast. it pisses me off so bad, this wont help them out one bit, i can't c how anyone could b so stupid as to buy a company and then shut it down. maybe if they were competing it would make sense but they aren't. i hope they do re-hire the staff but for now i hope comcast goes bankrupt and burns in hell.

Man...this sucks! I say hire back Sessler because he's funny as hell and get rid of Unscrewed and all its staff, especially that not-funny-at-all-fix-your-eye-bags host. I really don't find that guy funny and he should not be hosting his own show because I don't think he has the charisma for it.
As for Morgan Webb, get rid of her only if they find a better suited replacement for X-Play.

Lord yes...X-play is perhaps the worst show on videogames ever. I'd almost take those two tools on Jugement day over Morgan Webb and Sessler. And clearly neither one knows jack about games. I also disliked Unscrewed or at least what I could bare to watch. I'm glad they're fired...the only thing on that network worth time was Anime Unleashed and the timeslots for that were bad and there was no crappy staff involved.

I believe G4TV's site had a list of 6 or 7 shows they were planning to keep - it wasn't meant to be a run down of every show they were keeping, just a sampling - several weeks ago (from both networks) and X Play was one of the ones specifically mentioned. So I'd assume Morgan and Adam are going to be two of the TechTV employees receiving offers. I hope they at least keep Adam, that boy is funny.

Personally I like both X Play and Judgement Day (also on the list)

Oh, and I certainly hope karma doesn't work that way MightySlacker! An internet poster plays naughty so somebody else has to lose their job, YIKES! :shock: (I know that aint what you meant though.)

Although actually MWL might be hoping that if Morgan is soon to be out of a job she may reconsider Playboy's offer from a while back. (Might need the money now LOL)

Ive never seen G4 (as I have Direct TV), so I cant say much about the channel.
However, I think that Tech TV is great. I watch the Screensavers, X-Play, Tech Live, Spy School, Call for Help, and Unscrewed whenever I have a chance.
