Hello all,
I am planning on getting a DS soon and was just wondering if anyone picked up the play-yan or any of its numerour clones...
i was reading up on it and i think i am leaning toward the m3(media player 3) its 3rd party but i have heard some really good things about it like support for SD and cf card support, it also plays music movies emulator games (as long as you own the original of course).
Anyone here actually have one?
suggest one?
heres the web site for the m3
http://www.m3adapter.com/main.htm
let me know :)

Is this an update for the GBA Movie Player v2 seen here?

If so, I might have to jump in on it. I've had the Movie Player for about a year now but have only really been using it to play old NES games. I did watch Office Space on it once though and it was great.

That first one will let you pirate DS titles, it looks like. I'd strongly suggest eliminating that link, OP.

I'm not really sure if its an update from what i read it is but i could be wrong.
and in regard to the piracy thing, in order to do that you need to buy more hardware, so in actuality it doesnt advertise piracy at all, but if it has to be taken down i understand.

I hope so. I'd like to see something multimedia-ish on the DS. That would be pretty cool.

the play-yan has far better video playback than the gba mp. if you want to watch vids mainly, wait for the play-yan. if you want those other features and vid playback isnt so important for you, the m3 is a ok choice.
