PS2

-system
-a/v hookups
-power cable
-2 memory cards
-the new HDD (FFXI trial expired, but comes with discs if you wish to activate)
-network adaptor
-2 controllers in OK condition
-ICO
-Madden 2004
-SOCOM: US Navy Seals
-Tribes Aerial Assault
-DDRMAX: Dance Dance Revolution
-Tony Hawk's Underground
-GTA: Vice City
-Red Faction

The bundle is pretty huge and worth a good amount, so please come up with some good offers.

Most wanted games in a potential xbox bundle:
Ninja Gaiden
Halo
KOTOR
Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow
Crimson Skies

Controller S preferred.

Considering shady traders, I will recommend we use Safetrade. This is a service offered by TradeGamesNow.com.

We both ship our packages to TGN's HQ, they verify all the stuff is accounted for and works, then they send it along to the recipient.

I'm not sure if it's a pay service, but if so, it is likely a menial charge (2-5 dollars)

Thanks!

Why do you want an XBOX?

JohnHam

Because there's nothing coming down the road for PS2 that I'm looking forward to.

There's great stuff, but I want Halo 2.

Yeah, that's why I'm happy I bought an XBOX instead of a PS2 a year and a half ago. I've also already pre-ordered Halo 2 and I'm pissed off that it's been delayed.

I'll second that!!!

Plus, Ninja Gaiden is incredible.

Well anyways you might be able to just buy an XBOX used.

Yeah, but I'd rather trade. If I turned in the PS2 I'd get like no money.

Rather than trade, dude, why don't you get rid of the items that you don't want in your line-up? I mean, DDR, THUG, GTA, and SOCOM all have great replay value. I would trade off some of the other stuff, and buy a used box or something. No sense in abandoning your PS2 completely... obviously you found some enjoyment out of it, otherwise you would not have purchased all those games!

I also have at least one more suggestion. Even though you would probaly get nothing for your PS2 (at a gamestop etc.) you could try to sell it to a friend or sell it online.

Plus, trading all that stuff to someone else for another crazily assorted bundle is bound to present some troubles... between shipping costs, trading agreements, items below described condition, etc. I would avoid the headaches and just sell off a little.

Last time I checked they will not do consoles through safetrade.

Well he could sell the HDD and FFXI and make at least 70 off of that alone.

That's what I was thinking. Most of his games are popular enough or new enough to warrant decent monetary compensation. The HDD appears to not be in dire need (expired free trial comment), so that's good money too. Depending on how much he is willing to part with (apparently all), he could get a Halo XBox and a game or two.

Is JohnHam even here anymore? Maybe he's angry that we aren't putting up offers. Just suggestions. After all that's why he put this up here.

Haha, I went to bed guys, JEEZ. And I think I'm going to sell a lot of my PS2 stuff and get an xbox. Is the limited edition worth it?

LOL. Anyway, yes... the LE XBox is worth it because you'll want Halo. The system retails for $150, Halo for $30. The combo is $170 and the box is green along with the controller with Halo written on it. If you don't want Halo, or dislike green, or if you just hate great deals, don't get the LE XBox. Best wishes on your gaming future!!!
