TNA Wrestling Box Set Available Now at Wal-Mart. $25

TNA issued a press release yesterday that stated that you can buy the TNA wrestling DVD box set in Wal-Mart stores NOW. The price should be $25 or so.

Oddly enough, the box set is listed for release on 9/26 on the Wal-Mart website, and listed at a $20 price.

I checked my local Wallyworld today... not in yet, and the employees gave me the most clueless looks since the Target old woman mistaking Undertaker for Underwear.

Aw well, they'll have it in soon enough folks. No big hurry for me as I got all three on DVD-Rs from the live PPV airings. Would be nice to have the official TNA DVD releases for them, especially "Lockdown." :D

I'm hitting "The Mart" tonight, I'll check and see if they have them. My Wal Mart usually has the last 2 or 3 WWE PPV DVD's, and like 3 UFC PPV DVD's for sale, so you never know.

Sounds like TNA jumped the gun on putting the news on the site that its out. Then again, this is the SAME company that decided to have a title change AND a heel turn at a non-TV event..... so should we be surprised?

Oh and to let you know WalMart.com now has it listed under as TNA Anthology and not Total Nonstop Action Anthology. Makes better sense if you ask me..... :D

They were just little compilation things (greatest knockout-type deals), and the clerk said they were $5, while a tag out there tonight had some without prices, and others at $9. I tried to get the TNA set tonight, but they either didn't have it stocked, or just haven't gotten it in. The former is more likely, since they hadn't taken all of the DVDs out yet. I'll try again at the end of the week. It's also $20 according to those who have found the set in their stores.

Are the DVDs any good. I have not wathced TNA for a while, but keep up with it on the internet. And belive me I will be watching it from here on out, starting saturday.

Its well worth $19.96 just for the America's Most Wanted vs Triple X cage match on Turning Point. The one certain spot alone is worth it. Amazing.. just amazing. :)

I saw their match at the first aniversary show. That was a hell of a leg drop!

It's definitely an amazing spot. I want the TP DVD to see Savage's last match, and Victory Road and that have Hall on them, and I'm a big Hall fan. Lockdown has Candido's final match, and the set has his final on-air apperances on Impact and Xplosion.

Thanks for posting the scan on your receipt Demonman. I've been waiting for my Walmart to get this thing in. Now, since I got the UPC#, I can just type it in the computer and see if we have any on order.
