Ok guys I have the next 30 mins to finish writing this paper and I need your help. I have googled for over 3 hours and searched non-stop but cannot find anything of pratcial use.

I need to know about the founding fathers of vectors. Basic physics vectors. Just he basic history of them. I have no idea what to write so please help!

I belive there is something about Rene Descartes and William Hamilton but Wikipedia'ing them does not help much.

Everyone who helps is a great person!

Edit : Whoops its William Hamilton not Alexander

Go google cartesian coordinates, that should give you enough info to BS a quick paper off Descartes.

I did read the books but the books are about math and application and not the history. I was working on the paper for several hours. The history is just one part of the whole. And out teacher said to use any sources available.
