Can you use the $5 coupon you get with a GGC on a console purchase, or just games and accessories?

i think this is one of those occasions where i would actually go to the register and see if it works. might as well try i say. they might just see the "gamer" part and go for it

You realize that when it says "games and accessories"...that means you can use it on GAMES and ACCESSORIES?

As far as I know, it's basically up to the individual cashier how to interpret that. YMMV. All you can do is ask, I guess. It could easily be argued that the console is an "accessory," may as well see how easily the cashiers there can be persuaded.

the problem with this i people HAVE used it for xbox's and PC games...both are in the questinable category.

about a year ago....i had a coupon from bb, i dunno if it was an old version of the ggc or what....but it said you could get $5 off gaming software or accessories, so the cashier wouldn't let me use it because he said a video game is not software....so i argued with him for about 10 minutes until i said, "screw you, ill just go to customer service"....where they knew it was software
btw....can you use the ggc coupon online?

From my experience it really depends on the cashier.
Sometimes I've been able to use that coupon on a single $5 game.
