Girl working picks up: sorry, No that game never came out!

That's what I would say too. But then again I would probably get fired pretty quickly.

you have to understand that right now gamestop, and probably eb too, have A LOT of new employees that they hire for seasonal help. despite what you may think they dont always hire gamers, so i would like to believe it was some girl who just started working there last week and was just confused and probably busy. but then again, ya never know

This is pretty much the reason why I went to Target to find out if they had We Love Katamari instead of just calling.
My friend prank called a Meijer store asking for Atari 2600 games. I was writing down stuff to say on paper and holding it up for my friend to read while I was recording the call on a PC. My friend and the clerk were arguing, back and forth. I told my friend to say, "Well, I saw 'em there the last time I was there!!!" And the clerk played into it and asked, "When was the las time you were here?" "1982!"
Funny thing was, the clerk was none-the-wiser. They argued for a good 30 minutes and it ended up getting pretty heated from the clerk's end.
I had two different Gamecrazy clerks hand me a DS to test GBC and/or GB games during their big 3 for $15 sale. When I told them that the DS only plays DS and GBA games I was given the 'Uhm you're stupid, right?' look both times. One guy tried to shove the GBC game into the DS for a minute or two before finally taking out a GBA SP to use.
Was mildly entertaining, but I did think about these guys selling a DS to kids, mom, etc. saying 'Oh yeah it'll play all your GB, GBC, GBA, DS games! May as well trade that SP in for credit towards the purchase since you won't need it now!'
