View Full Version : Possible Best Buy Shaq-Fu Up on Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks ($10 Gift Card)
I bought Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks at Best Buy yesterday. Upon being rang up, the cashier said, "And you get a ten dollar gift card with your purchase." I was getting other stuff, in addition to Shaolin Monks, so I asked if I was getting the gift card for Shaloin Monks or the other shit. "No, you get it for...", and he looked at the computer, "Tiger Woods..." He realized that I didn't buy Tiger Woods and he was as confused as I was. I mean, Shaolin Monks was the only video game I bought, so I guess the UPC or something in the system was fucked up.
I got the ten dollar gift card, though.

Shoalin Monks isnt even supposed to be on shelves till wednesday if im correct. That MIGHT have something to do with it. Itll be interesting to see if this is another Harvest Moon AWL type screw up

I think that was the original release date, but they shipped it early. GameSpot has it's release date listed as the 16th.

At least in my area the weekly circular has a ten dollar automatic discount for Shaolin Monks, so it's 39.99, and if you use the usual $5.00 off coupon, it should be $35.00+tax. Not bad, if you want to pick it up this week.

It's too short just wait in about two weeks people that pre-ordered will probably be trading this in because of it being to short in single player.
