View Full Version : Bangai-O for $1.00! [ anyone have a manual to sell me?]

Picked up a second Bangai-O today, this one also has no manual, much like my original. Picked this up at a pawn shop today, marked for $10, I offered $1 and nabbed it. Tested it on a friends DC and it worked (I have no controllers/VMU/hookups...I'd love to buy these off someone too? :P].
So in short, yay hurray deal, and I need a Bangai-O manual or two. Anyone got one to sell for cheap? Let me know :p.

Hey CAG's, I've been hearing that people are finding all these good deals at Pawn Shop's, but I have no idea where to even look for some around here, would anyone know how to find Pawn Shop's?

My dad showed them to me years ago, and showed me how to haggle. Basically, just drive/bus/whatever around, or look in phone books for them. When you find them, theres a 3 step process to getting the "good" prices, because most pawn shops have overpriced shit in them.
1) Find what you want
2) Decide if you'll pay that price
3)a) if you'll pay that price, haggle him down just a bit, and you get it for cheaper. they ALWAYS haggle, i've never had them flat out say "no".
b) if you wont pay that price, try and haggle a lot down, because at this point you have nothing to lose. either he drops the price, or you just don't buy it.
hope that helps at all. if you're haggling, remember to appear confident; saying "hey, um, maybe i was kinda wondering if you'd maybe consider dropping like...thirty...cents off of this game here...I um...hi?" doesn't get you shit :P.

haggling in pawn shops is fine to do up to a point. i've been kicked out of a pawn shop for doing it too much.

Hehe, I go to the pawn shop a lot and buy his games quite a bit, and I always offer really low prices; after all, I already owned a manual-less copy of the game, I wouldn't really pay $10 for another one. I guess I'm lucky the owner of this pawn shop isn't a prick, eh? ;o
