I know it's rare as hell, but I saw not one but two of those motherfuckers just sitting around in a GS for 39.99. Should I just go back tomorrow and get it and play it then sell it? Or should I pick it up for someone really really wants it?

it was re-released, not as rare anymore apparently.

ryles doesn't know what Rhapsody is. Ryles thought Rhapsody was a music downloading site on the internet.

Are you interested in playing the world's easiest SRPG? It's also really short, and has a musical theme - does any of that sound interesting?

Let's not forget that it is geared towards 8 year old girls. It was so funny when it got rereleased, you could tell a lot of people hadn't heard about it and just wanted it for it's rarity.

Okay then. It's not worth it. Thanks.

*bought it for his collection, and possible value hike*
I mean, Disgaea has been rereleased twice and is still as rare, so, I mean, it might rise above and back to that old value ($60-$70) once Christmas comes around. Who knows? I got it because I wanted it.

I don't own it, but I've played it.
It is a fun, light, short, cute SRPG. Obviously it's more like a 'shoujo' anime, but those aren't necessarily bad. If you're more into Tactics Ogre and Disgaea, Rhapsody will feel like a step down in complexity and story. But I don't think it's a 'bad' game at all, it's a different take on the SRPG/tactical genre, and would be a good introduction to the genre for a younger person, especially female, or a newbie.

I'm just an occasional CAG lurker, but I swear, I've seen this particular question asked like 3 times in the past two weeks.
Sheesh :(

Rhapsody is no Disgaea, nor should it's "value" ever be compared as such. Investing in video games is not a wise move.

Unlike all the other threads, I knew what is it was, and how it may be worth. I mainly posted the question to find out good the actual game is and if someone else may want me to pick up and mail it to them.

it is still in stock at gamestop.com so you probably wont find anyone here that needs it.

I actually didn't purchase it solely for investing. I'm actually collecting SRPG's, so it was a nice edition to the collection. Just thought I'd let you know.
