So, about a couple weeks ago I traded in some old 2 dollar games from Circuit City's clearance. I ended up getting 30+ in credit at Game Crazy. I put it towards WLK. When I picked it up yesterday and it rang up, the guy said "Woah, I owe you $5 bucks. That's weird." I told him to check again. Because I should owe him a couple cents or something, but he said "nah. The computer said I owe." Then he goes on this lecture on how they got a new system and stuff which is crazy apparently. To sum up. After insisting that I should pay what was due. He said just take the $5 so that the computer says I owe so the register matches up at the end of the day. HOW COOL IS THAT!

Shouldn't they just keep $5 on your account instead of going "whoa, we owe you $5?"

He said, usually they keep it as credit. But the computer shows that It's owed to me in cash. So I got lucky.

You were very lucky, most stores don't give cash for store credit. Congratulations! Now what are you doing here instead of playing one of the best games of the year?

how is it one of the best games of the year if it did nothing to innovative to the previous title?

the same way Madden, Splinter Cell and GTA are considered "the best games of the year" by some people.

At some stores any credit is considered tax exempt, I am not sure if you took this into consideration ( or if that location does that)
