Wouldn't be suprised if someone in the administration made up this story to show a human side to him, and that he really does care about all the people that had died or been affected by iraq and katrina. It seems to repeatedly show his concern for all the people in the article.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Bush has started drinking again - he definitely seems more out-of-it than normal, lately (not that he ever seems particularly with-it even on good days...) Still, that report definitely sounds like a load of BS, with the whole 'Stop, George!' by Laura.

Something I've heard a number of psychologists say is that Bush acts like an alchoholic who's not currently drinking, but still hasn't dealt with the reasons he started drinking in the first place. Its pretty clear to see that he has major issues with his parents, and we as a country are paying for them. Lets face it, its pretty clear that the ultimate reason we're in Iraq is because Bush needs to show up his daddy.
