For how much and where can I get a segway?

I've done no research on this but I thought with my college classes spread out and the cold whether a comin that a segway would be a stylish way to get around, anyone know where I can get one and for how much, nothing fancy just a basic one, new or used.

I'd rather save the cash and just walk. Some people will think it's cool you have one, and some will make fun of you (same with just about anything).

I think Amazon.com is one of the only places to get one. They would be your best bet.

Well since the maximum speed of a Segway is 12.5 mph I wouldn't exactly call it an alternative to a car, more like a horribly expensive alternative to a bicycle. The Postal Service actually bought at least 80 of the things to test if they would be a better alternative for carriers to use while delivernig mail and even they determined they were useless. Now I guess they are sitting in a warehouse somewhere.
