Found a stack of about 9 of these at my local KMART. is this a good deal? or was it just mass produced like that?

Hmmm... I'm not so sure of it being a deal as my TRU has a big stack at $9.99... but in terms of the price it is a great game, like Goldeneye on BALCO.

I got this for around $10 last year at Circuit City. I'd say it's about average, but I'm no expert.

some toys R' Us's have them for .99-2.99 on clearance. and then again, some stores are still selling them at 19.99. weird company...

I have this at $5.99 and about xmas till a month ago I had them on special at $3.99
still $5.99 is a good deal and usually people add it to their carts to get free shipping or other coupon

my eb has about 7 of them new for about $7.99. i am still thinking about getting it, but i don't want to pay extra for an expansion set.

My local EB has a few for $5.99 each, and I'd get one too if I could find an expansion pak.

It's too bad that they did require the expansion pack. I got the expansion pack with Donkey Kong 64 so it wasn't a problem for me but it sucks that they did require it because the expansion pack isn't cheap and isn't exactly common now.

The expansion pack isnt required, the game is just severly crippled in what modes you can play without an expansion pack, the back of the box should give specifics, i'de post it if I rembered.

Is this game any good? I have seen boat loads of these in just about every store I go to for $5 along with conker's bad fur day.

Yeah, you cannot play the single player mission mode without the expansion pack. You can only play deathmatch without the expansion pack but I think you can play single player deathmatch.
