I need a micro. It's not a want, it's a need. I also can't afford to pay for a new ststem at the present time.
I have a GBA SP and a bunch of games I can trade in.
How can I get the most out of that and pay as little as possible? (I only have an EB Games and a Gamestop).
The games are:
GBA:
Mario vs Donkey Kong
Banjo Pilot
Driver 2
Banjo Kazooi: Grunties Revenge
Super Mario Bros. 3
PS2:
Unreal Tournament
Namco Museum
Half-Life
Silent Hill 2
Jak & Daxter
GCN:
Waverace: Blue Storm
Zelda Ocarina of Time and Master Quest bonus disc
PSP:
Wipeout Pure
Darkstalkers Chronicle
Are there any Micro or game specific deals, or anything that would get me over $100 for these games?

Sorry Quack but you will be SOL when it comes to a trade-in deal for a Micro. Based on what I have heard instead of getting a Micro you should just upgrade to the newer SP that are out with the same type of screen as the micro and still 20 bucks cheaper.

I want the micro because it has a better screen than the new SP, GBA games are blocky on a regular screen, buy with a smaller dot pitch they will be sharp.
Also, I want the controls to be beside the screen.

I figured as much that is the main reason most people are doing this but I would suggest going to EB because they are doing the extra 5 bucks per game.

Ooh, an extra $5 per game!
Does that apply to all games? And how long will it last?

This isn't a discussion, it's a deal thread.
If you want to make a big argument that high dot pitch is better than low dot pitch make it in the gaming forum.
This ends here, don't respond to this post, it will only serve to spam up this topic and prevent me from learning more about this interesting $5 extra trade in deal.

Don't forget, at EB you also get a bonus for a trade-in of a GBA system and 3 games, $15 (more with a sp I believe). I bet you can pull off $100+ for all of that, you should have seen what I got $150 for yesterday...
About the extra $5 per game, check the POX list.

Make sure the games you want to trade in are NOT on that list.
The deal goes: trade in 3 qualifying games, get an extra $3 per game
4 games, extra $4 per game
5 or more, extra $5 per game
PS2/GCN/XBX only I believe.
Here's a Link to more EB trade-in offers

I own both and was giving an honest opinion, I don't know anything about dot pitch, only what looks better to me...........No need to be a dick about it.
Congrat's on your new Micro.

Wow, nice. Were the two PSP games most of the value or did you actually get to take advantage of the $5 extra for 5 games offer?

I took advantage of the $5 extra for 5 (or more) games offer, gamestop MATCHED it!
And I only traded in 1 PSP game, which was worth the most.
