You have to look closely, but it's there, my friends. And why exactly are people still saying no 360 launch titles excite them?

meh still not enough to justify a purchase for me. The only games that I'm sorta intrested in are Stranglehold and Shadowrun

Because playing with 64 people isn't exciting, let alone worth $400

Uhhh, I doubt people will buy a 360 to just play one game. COD2 is just one of many reasons to buy one.

i agree, it is a solid reason, as long as the gameplay is good...

but that is your opinion, based on your gaming tastes and expectations of next gen systems...doesn't mean someone else finds some of the launch titles worthy..what was a reason to own a ps2/xbox/cube the first year it was out, never mind launch titles...xbox had halo, the game I liked best at launch for the ps2 was ssx, the next game i got was medal of honor the follwing summer...and the cube had the rougue squadron game and ssmb (which didn't interest me, but I can understand its appeal)

I plan on getting this as one of my first games....64 players, not always good, but a nice option. I know some of the 16 player battles in Halo2 turned into a mess.....
I just cannot wait.
I'd rather play with 64 people online with the PC than XBL. 63 other 13 year olds running around with headsets, no thanks.

so there are no 13 year olds playing pc games? Yes it does suck sometimes, but LEAVE FEEDBACK...I always do, good or bad..

THIS SUCKS.....The first time a system is coming out and I want nearly all the games launching with it. And now Im in a medical school program and can afford nothing >:(

COD 2 not a reason to drop down 400 on a 360 especially when you can get the game for PC. There is no killer app for the launch, and COD 2 is def not one.

Exactly, also if you've played the demo for PC it's pretty underwhelming.

COD2 will easily be the best 360 launch title, but it runs fine on my PC so I see no need to get a 360. But I still don't know why anyone would want to play 64 player, I can't stand more than 16.

on consoles i think the more players the worse. The more players means more 12 year olds...terrible

After playing that demo, I'm really looking forward to this. Nice eye.
graphics on this game look like teh suck!!shift+1!! ...might as well get it for the xbox or ps2, because the 360 version looks like it belongs on one of those systems.

What the hell are you ranting about?
Look at this in-game video (in 720p) and then come back and tell us it looks like ps2.

I would say the box is wrong when it says 64 people. On the show G4TV they were having a preview of COD 2 and when one of the host's asked the developer if there was on-line play, he said yes. But what he said was 8 players or 16 if all the players had a really good connection. So I'm really unimpressed with the online part of COD 2. Hopefully they can tweak it some more before launch and make it at least 32 players.

I read a similar post at ign. So, the current box art is obviously misleading since it says "64." Quite frankly, I'd be happy with 16 at the least. Teams of 8 on 8 is okay, Anything less is malarky!
