here's the auction i won
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8220424902&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT&rd=1
can't remember, but can the SNES, N64 and NGC all use the same yellow white red cables? if so i've got an extra, but that still leaves me without a power cord.
on a side note, i remember seeing some SNES controllers at an EB nearby, so i'll call and hopefully they have a power cord.

Don't you have to be a certain age to sell something on eBay? I swear that seller can't be over 6 years old with such grammar ;p

Good luck. I looked every where this summer for a 1st party power cord. Ended up having to get one of the 3rd party on eBay. There's a never-ending supply of them.

Yes they can.
Version 2 of the SNES, the smaller redesigned model, uses the same composite cable as the N64 and GCN. The larger original SNES (the one that the plastic case often fades to different colors) uses an RF cable.

The larger one uses my n64 cord just fine...
Yeah I had to "borrow" my friends snes power cord :D
Hey maybe the seller has english as a second language, give him a break.

Does your larger one have a cartridge eject button? Version 2 doesn't have this.

The Version 2 is only the AV hook up. The original model has RF or the AV hookup (same jack as N64/Cube)

http://www.gameliquidation.com has 3rd party power cords - I personaly own one so I can vouche for it, it works well. Anyway it's only $6.50 with free shipping. They also have a small selection of sealed games.

This is correct. (I don't know either way about it being the same jack as the N64/Cube, but it does have both RF and AV hookups.)

Sweet deal other than no power cord - And yes the SNES model 1 will use the same cords the GS and N64 use - I've got mine hooked up with a GC S-Video cable!

hopefully the power cord will get here tomorrow. i'm psyched about finally playing Super Metroid. i've beaten Zero Mission, Fusion, MP, and i'm playing MP 2, so can't wait for this one.
