its well worth its wieght in gold. I picked up both 1 and 2 for 10 (1 used and 2 new) and after playing them would happily pay 100 for 3.

Ok on my scale says my copy of shenmue 2 weighs about 6 ounces. Gold is about $363 an ounce so you owe sega $2178

Weigh just the disc, not the packaging+instructions.

I'll be damned if I buy a game that doesn't come with a disc... or take a preowned copy that's dirty and scratched up to hell...

Is this game like an RPG or something? How do you play it?

to anyone picking up the game. I highly recommend you go and get the DC version. It is worth it to have both. The movie is decent but not enough to make you get the full enjoyment out of part 2

yea I mean the first game. It was in reference to the movie that is included(about the first one, the game is a way better intro to the second game). Thanks for making me clear that up as what I typed was not very clear

my CC (Bangor, ME) didn't have any, but I did get the last copy of Eternal Darkness for $20. Marked at $50, $20 seems a little high but I've been wanting to find it and it's hard to come across around here at any price.

I bought the first game at Sears for $2 last year and still haven't gotten around to playing it (maybe this summer). $10 seems like a great price for the sequel which maybe I will get once I finish the first game (and if I like the series).

I highly suggest you pick this game up and play it. It is a masterpiece in every sense of the word. Although both have flaws, the sum is greater than the parts.

The original was absolutely great. You'll find yourself going "why do I enjoy this so much" quite a few times while you play (when you get to the part where Ryo gets a job, you'll know what I mean), but once that game gets its hooks into you, you're not going anywhere until it's done.

I worked my way out of many a hangover playing this game. Once I get an xbox, Shenmue 2 is in the first five games I buy.

I have to agree with the sentiments expressed about the first Shenmue - there's no good reason why you feel you have to keep playing once you pick it up, but you do. Just running around the town, speaking with everyone on the off chance they'll say something different. The story is compelling, the graphics were fantastic for the time. It's a shame it wasn't a bigger hit.

I still haven't found a copy at CC, although I did find Wild Arms 3 for $9.96 just yesterday. :)
