I'm selling a Slim PS2 (hardly used) on eBay. It's only been used a couple times. I started the action out at 99 cents with no reserve.

Updated:
If you are a Cager and you win shipping is $15 with insurance. I'll also include some demo discs for free.

Here's the link for your cheap ass:

$25 shipping and then an extra $10 for insurance ? insurance on a $150 is only about $3. And this thing can't weigh more than 8 pounds. Do the math.

Where do you people come up with these figures.....

Why does it matter? IT all goes to a total anyway.

I guess $26 bid is about as high as it should go then. The buyer has to tack on another $35 in fees. Shipping on the PSTwo is about $10 at Fedex.

First of all, I made the insurance optional, so it's only $25 inless they want the insurance. Now that I think about it though, I'm shipping it UPS witch already has the insurance... oops.

Also I looked around at other ebayers selling ps2 and a lot of them were selling it at $25... so I thought I could probably get a way shipping it at that price too:).

It is still pretty heavy though too and I'm shipping it in the orginal box which is kind of big too...

You can definately sell it with that much shipping on ebay where people tend not to look for such good deals, like us CAGs do. Most CAGs offer reduced shipping if a CAG wins, you don't have to do this. I'm just letting you know what is the norm here.

Ok, ok. If a Cag wins it here I'll ship it for $15 with insurance. I'll also throw in some demo disc's (I think 3 or 4 of them).

How about that? Does that sound good?

I'd put "dicount+bonus for CAGs" or something in the title of this thread to get more attention for your auction. Good luck!

A more honest seller would put the thing in the box, weigh it, and use the Ebay shipping calculator in the listing to more accurately reflect the shipping. A ps2 slim is not that heavy, nor is it that big. Just becuase other people are getting $25 shipping shouldn't mean you should try it too. But, alas, it's your way of doing business, I guess. I wouldn't buy from you, though, with that much shipping.

For christ's sake dude, you got the thing for free in a contest. Why so greedy ?

What's up with everybody getting mad about my shipping cost? If you don't like something that someone is listing or how they list it, all you have to do is don't bid on it.

I think the slim is still pretty heavy for it's size (like a laptop) and especially in the box it came with with all the accesories in it. And I think at $15 (which if your a cagger) I'm probably going just about brake even if you factor the box, peanuts and the shipping from ups.

Yeah, I got it free, but why not get the most out if it I can. To me it's more Xbox games or money towards my Xbox 360. Isn't that what this site's for? Looking for games etc. for ass cheap? So I don't think calling someone greedy at this kind of site is really necessary.

As a side note though too, I don't have a weigher to weigh the thing, although it would be nice to have one. But that's why I looked at other eBayers to see what they were shipping at. Just to let you know though too that when I posted it on eBay the avarage shipping price it gave me (I guess a new feature) it said about $15 to $100. Arn't you glad now too that I didn't make the shipping $100?

Enough about the shipping. If you don't want to pay it, then don't bid on it!
