I dont know what exactly is on sale but I figured it may be worth posting.

EDIT:
GoodGuys is closing all their stores in California. Most of their locations will have special sales, but some will not. Here is a list of stores who will have the special sales (http://www.goodguys.com/canv.htm).

I always hated that store. When I was younger and had money, no one would help me. Now, I'm older with less disposable income, I won't buy anything with their overinflated prices.

I do hope all the CAG'er pick the meat off the bones of GoodGuys rotting corpse.

My goodness, I haven't been inside a Goodguys store in years. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

I haven't been to a GoodGuys in a while. Do they sell iPods there? If so, think they'll have any iPod Nanos?

They sell TVs, Car Stereos, Home Stereos, etc.

No games though. No DVDs. No software. I dont know if they sell computers either.

I'm not sure how good this sale is. Good Guys was bought out by Compusa. Thats all I know.

They sell portable audio stuff (MP3 players). I'm not sure about Ipods, but I doubt you can get that good of a deal there since they're overpriced anyway.

Does anyone know when the sale starts? I might check it out when I go home this week.

Everytime I've ever been to the Good Guys the employees have been totally unhelpful, to the point of being rude. Not to mention, their prices have always been insane.

I noticed some of our Good Guys were turned into CompUSA, didn't know they bought them out. I never liked GG anyway.

I'd be interested in cheaper MP3 players and car audio though... I blew out my car's speakers because I'm stupid.

Iwent to one in Sacto and wasn't impressed with the deals. A lot of opened, damaged stuff that was on average 20% off and most of the new stuff was only 10% off their already high prices. You can find better deals online or at other stores

Right now there is not much in the way of sales. I went to the one on Blossome Hill south of San Jose on Sunday (first time ever in one since I am new to CA) and found the typical early store closing sale prices...10-20% off, 40% off on some TV stands. The DVDs were all individually marked, and hardly spectacular...for example, Spider-Man 2 was $14.99.....

I hated Good Guys too. My Dad used to always joke and call them Bad Guys because they rip people off on prices.

I only have a slight soft spot for them because back in the 90s there was an ugly hostage situation in the Sacramento Good Guys. That one got pretty hairy. I don't remember if any hostages got hurt or not

Goodwill is EXPENSIVE! It's insane how high they jack up some of their prices. Once in a while if the people who price it don't know what the heck it is, or just don't care, you may find a good deal, but everyone think's video games are expensive, and any video games they get go extremly high.

That store is horrible, thank god they are shutting down. They had the worst prices anywhere.
