at all? i mean none of the ones i've seen so far look interesting, and the fact that they're going to be about 20$ each relly kills any urge i would have to get one even if there were any i liked. c'mon 20$ for a slab of plastic!? that more of a rip off than the ps2 vertical stand. at least the stand served a purpose. who really cares what you're xbox looks like, it's going to play the same either way. i'm sure some people will say something like "don't you want you 360 to look unique?" unique? yeah, like thousands of other people's xbox's look unique. whatever faceplate my 360 comes with will be the only one i use. ...unless they come out with a nude jessica alba faceplate. then i'll but one for my 360. ...and an extra for "other purposes."

yeah, $20 is way too much for a piece of plastic. Maybe theyll have 3rd party plates that will be cheaper (and better looking)

Unless them come out with some cool Game based ones or a site comes out that lets you create your own I have no desire to ever buy one.

I couldn't care less about faceplates. I'm glad there's the option, but I will not be a faceplate consumer. My Xbox 360's going to be in my entertainment center and out of site anyway, but even if it wasn't I still wouldn't really buy a faceplate unless the Xbox 360 was really ugly, which it isn't.

Big meh on the faceplate thing. The initial ones are ugly as sin and unless they're themed for games and packaged as an incentive with pre-sales or LE's I'm not buying.

I'll probobly fall for the "limited edition _________" based on certain games but other than that, i'll probobly get something from decalgirl.com whenever they have x360 stuff.

Yeah, pretty useless. Although, I did end up buying the vertical stand for my launch PS2. That was $15, I think.

Yep, I'd only be interested in face plates based on games. It definitely seems like companies will be giving these away as pre-order bonuses.

ill buy one so my girlfriend can do some custom artwork on it.. but thats all.. just one-five plus game oriented ones... even then.. i don't know if id spend any "extra" money on them.

I coudl care less....mine will also be next to my entertainment stuff, which is all silver. The XBOX360 looks fine how it is.

I never even consider buying faceplates, LEDs, stickers, or any of that other crap that serves no purpose to stick on or in my machines. I did buy an LED USB cable once, but that is because the thing was on discount for half the price of the regular USB cable by the same company.

I won't get one. Sure, the front of your 360 will look nice, but what about the rest of it? That would be like having a green, spray painted bumper on your car, which just happens to be yellow.

My Xbox 360 (if I decide to get one) will be hidden away like the rest of my systems. I don't give a crap how it looks - as long as it does what it is supposed to do and doesn't suck I'll be happy.
faceplates are not only pointless but I think it will make my entertainment center look tacky.

I don't care about faceplates. For that matter, I don't care about the look of a system. It could be designed to resemble a giant turd, but if it's fun to play, that's all that matters to me.

Faceplates are cool on portables, like the micro, but they just don't work with home electronics.

There is nothing stopping you from modifying the faceplate that comes with it. With an airbrush and a little bit of patience you could make something nice.
Also, I bet it is only a matter of time before we see a white erase board faceplate. That would be hot. </dlf>
I'm not interested in faceplates either. They just look really tacky to me.

The only ones I would buy are ones that could be drawn on with ink, like maybe a matte white. Otherwise Ill stick with pain old white, or maybe fuego

the thing that bothers me about the faceplates is that, to me anyways, they would clash with the rest of the system. you have this faceplate that is say black with flames while the rest of the system is white. not that pretty to me.

No need for one really, it doesnt enhance the system and you cant really see my ps2/gc anyways so any faceplates or stickers just seem useless to me.

Hmmmm I like how your thinking. A regular nintendo one would be cool. They need to make a couple of faceplates after games. Like a Elder Scrolls 4 or NFS MW one. Now that might be cool but they would have to keep the white background to match the system.

Okay, I would actually buy one that made it look like the original Xbox. It would just seem out of place if I didn't.
