i see their is a bonus soundtrack to the game BUT does it come with the outpost order also? cause i ordered it from them.

If it's a box-set like the first DDS, it should be included. Heck, the soundtrack was included in the first print of Nocture so you should be fine.

No. It was a pre-order bonus item that places like GameStop and EB Games had. It is not part of the package. Getting the game from Outpost.com will sadly not get you the soundtrack. Heck, my local GS got in a whopping 2 copies of the soundtrack and I made sure to snag mine today since I won't have time to pick up the game tomorrow.

This is exactly why I cancelled my Outpost preorder and ordered from EB, and good thing too. Seems everyone's Outpost orders are being cancelled.

I ordered from GS and I didn't get a soundtrack! I'm fucking pissed!
It shows up as being shipped but there's nothing in my package... just the game is a big ass UPS envelope! They better give me my soundtrack- that was the reason why I ordered it early and paid full price!:-x
damn the eb B&M store doesnt have a signle soundtrack! Hopefully Atlus will allow people with prof of preorder get a free soundtrack like they did with the DDS sticker.

I'm going to pick up my game and ST in a minute. Thankfully my GS had some soundtracks in. Wouldn't have been a huge deal if they didn't but bonus that they do.

You didn't need a preorder, IIRC. You only needed a receipt to prove you purchased it.

your best bet is to call local gamecrazy, eb, or gs and hope they have extra copies. People orderd from gs.com and didnt get the soundtrack. EB.com might work.

my preorder from EBGames.com shipped yesterday, it does say two things shipped, game and 'bonus' but no details on what the bonus is. The item went from no bonus, to stickers, to OST [now]. I certainly hope it's the OST.

Ok, if you ordered from Gamestop.com for the bonus CD and didn't receive it, YOU NEED TO CALL FOR A REPLACEMENT. I was on hold for about 45 minutes before I got through, my convo went like this:
Gamestop: Order # please
Me: (Giving her my order #)
Gamestop: Didn't receive the bonus CD, I assume? (I say yes). I'll get a replacement mailed out immediately, thank you for calling Gamestop!
So yea, I guess nobody received the soundtrack, but you need to call Gamestop and let them know you didn't get it.

I know if I put this game in, I will play it all night and be so tired for work.
But what the hell, I loved DDS, easily my favorite RPG of 2004, so off I go to play this.
Kinda sad that nobody opted to make a guide for either of these games... everyone thought Doublejump would do it, but I guess they are too busy making guides for Genji.

Brick and Mortar EBgames store didn't get in any soundtracks. Mine was one of two preorders. They were apologetic, and I suppose I somewhat understand, but I dropped in LAST WEEK to make sure they were getting the preorder bonus. In fact they remembered the discussion. Took my charge back refund and walked.
Final straw for me basically, and brick and mortar stores.
I should have known better, frankly, and just ordered it online.

But that's only worth doing if you can find free shipping codes everytime you want to place an order. Otherwise even with high gas prices, it is still cheaper for me to shop at a B&M.

What? This has nothing to do with cheap prices or gas, we were talking about preorder bonuses. Value shipping is what, 2 bucks anyways, and this way I am guaranteed to get the preorder bonus that I want (I mean, I'm dropping 50 if I'm preordering a game anyway).
It was too often that I was supposed to get some kind of bonus in store when the game hit, only to hear "Oh sorry, we didn't get enough to fill all our preorders, you're too late" or "We didn't receive the bonus at all, sorry, here's your game though". Now, when there is a really good preorder bonus that I want (like this DDS 2 soundtrack) I'll order it online, so I know that I am guranteed a copy no matter what - then, if something does happen and I don't get it, Gamestop ships me out another one.
What happens at a B&M if you don't get your preorder bonus? Nothing, you're shit out of luck.
gamestop.com didnt ship me the bonus for La Purcell, so I dont think there is a 100% of getting it. On the other hand, EB doesnt have the bonus Sword of Mana soundtrack and a week later they told me to pick it up.

My point was, most of the time the pre-order bonus items aren't worth the $2 or $3 shipping or whatever. It costs me a LOT less than $3 to pick up a game when I'm out and about. And given the volume of games I buy, that money adds up in a hurry! Buying everything online isn't an option when it would mean pissing away tons on money annually on shipping charges. Regardless of bonus items, I'm still a cheapass first and foremost. Since I'm still getting nailed with tax online, there isn't much incentive to buy online except in very very rare occasions. I used to be incredibly anal about pre-order items, but most trinkets I can honsetly live without. Soundtracks, artbooks, and preview discs are high on my priority list so I make sure to hound my local B&Ms to death for those. T-shirts, playing cards, system skins, comic books, and such would still maybe be nice to get, but if I don't I try not to lose any sleep over it. So while I may have gotten my DDS2 soundtrack from my local GS, they never did get the t-shirts for my Ninja Gaiden Black pre-order. Should I have spent the extra money to buy NGB online just for that shirt? I don't think so.
Don't get me wrong, had my local GS not gotten in the DDS2 soundtracks, I'd be literally screaming at them right now. I'm just saying that switching to only doing pre-orders via online is not a must for everyone given the extra cost. I have and will still do online pre-orders when I feel it is necessary.

I pre-ordered Second Sight online when Cheapy got us that exclusive CAG deal on it and I never got my pre-order bonus DVD so you are not always guranteed your bonus online either.

also received my game Wednesday, but sadly no soundtrack. Ordered from Gamestop. Specifically preordered the "Bonus" one listed. Even my receipt mentions soundtrack. Hopefully this will be fixed.

I got a email saying that they're going send me another copy using upgraded service... 3 days and nothing yet. It took the game one day to reach my dorm (it was shipped form Louisville, KY and arrived the same day) and yet the soundtrack hasn't even shipped. It shows up as pre-release 9/13/05?!
And how many people work on their customer service? I called right before 9:00 and was on hold for 22 fucking minutes before I hung up.
I better get my damn soundtrack.:-x

No bonus soundtrack yet... called Gamestop again, I actually got put through immediately!!!
I talked to a woman named Kim, who told me that since so many people didn't receive the soundtrack, some people were on hold. She said that since I was told mine was coming and should have been here, her supervisor is going to let her release the item out of hold and send it to me through overnight shipping.
I guess their computer glitched since it was showing all the soundtracks as shipped, so they don't know who got one and who didn't get one.
