Basicly my xbox is not reading any games.Its not even attempting to.I turn it on and it goes right to the main menu or if I turn on auto sign in my Xbox live menu
Any ideas how to fix it?

does the power light flash at all with a disc in the drive?
have you turned it on with a disc in the drive?
Can you hear the dvd drive spin up at all?
Have you modded your box?

Yes the power light turns on
Yes ive started it with and without a game inside
I think I hear it spin in the begining then it stops
Nope no moding on my box

ur drive is dead. u can replace it or call 1-800 4 MY XBOX , they can fix it for you.

do they fix it for free or is it that 100$ bs?
Gamestop told me microsoft fixes a xbox for 100 bucks, then i heard from ebgames, its free. So its best to called them and see whats up.

Call them up and see what happens, my cousin game me an xbox that went dead a year ago, it was one that he bought a year after launch. I called them up told them it would not ready any games, gave me an error. they said it was still in warranty and that I should ship it to them and they will fix it free of charge. Just call and see whats up.
