If you want the item and don't like the price, make me an offer. The worst thing I will say is "no".

Sega Slam Soccer for 99cents! Say no i dare ya! :)
I'm going to have to say no. That and several of the other PS2/Xbox/GC games are the parceled out remains of chickenhawk's 200 game auction.
Believe it or not, some people are paying the $9.99 price tag. So far, my biggest surprise is Unison. It had a $4.99 price tag and somebody bought it for $9.99 used today.

How old is your daughter? Is she hot?
3. Legally speaking, nobody should think she is hot.

A little advice on offers:
If I have it priced at $9.99, the average selling price is between $6 and 8.99.
If I have it priced at $19.99, the average selling price is between $9 and $14.99.
If I have it price above $19.99, the average selling price is above $14.99.
Another important factor is the amount of time left on the auction. Every few days, I drop prices on some items to entice purchases.
If I'm selling a new item, I'm expecting to sell the item for at least the average selling price. I usually won't drop the price below that point.
If I'm selling an used item, I'm expecting to sell the item for less than the average selling price. I usually will drop the price below that point.
About most of my Dreamcast auctions ...
I'm selling these Dreamcast games for a local retailer for commission. Prices aren't really negotiable, but starting bids are more than reasonable.

Why does your shipping vary from $3.75 to $5.00 for a single game?? Some listed as shipping via Priority have a cost of $3.75 and other with First Class show $5.00.

Good question.
All of the single game auctions should have first class mail shipping and should follow these rules.
BIN price $9.99 or less: $3.75
BIN price $19.99 or less: $4.00
BIN price $20.00 or greater: $5.00
If they don't, here's why:
1. I made a mistake and put the wrong type of shipping (ie. Goldeneye: Rogue Agent). Of course, this specific instance is fixed.
2. I've dropped the price down a tier (ie. $12.49 to $9.99) and didn't lower the shipping price.
3. This item is a preorder and gets delivery confirmation. I don't have any of those items up right now (10/06), but I did it for Nascar 06, Suffering 2 and NBA Live 06 recently.
Back to the meat of your original question: Why do I charge different rates based on the item's price?
I use higher rates to offset the fees from Paypal and Ebay. If you or any other CAG don't want to pay more than the cost of the postage ($1.29-$2.30) and envelope ($0.21), just say so. You can take the discount at checkout manually or I'll refund you the money afterwards.

I'm in the process of dropping prices on most of the 95 remaining auctions.
I should be done in a hour or so.
If you were straddling the fence on a game, now is your chance to get it even cheaper than a few days ago.
There will probably be more price drops in another day or two, but a lot of these games should be gone by Saturday night.

You hoarded during the Fatal Frame 3 sale, bastard!
Really? I thought PlayAsia had hundreds or thousands of that title for sale.
OK, how much do you want to pay for 1, 2, 3 or all 4?

Unison for $10 is suprising.

You hoarded during the Fatal Frame 3 sale, bastard!
Another fine post with a lot of emotion, but no logic.
Let me add a little more about the Fatal Frame 3 hoarding:
http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=68203&page=1&pp=20
This topic was posted on 9/27 around noon. I didn't show an interest until nearly 23 hours later.
Based on all of the posts, there were no reports of the game going Out of Stock. So, I had no effect on anybody getting this game for that price. For all anybody knows, I could have ordered hundreds of copies of this game and still had no effect.
Most of the negative connotation associated with hoarding has to do with it hampering somebody's ability to buy an item. This item wasn't hoardable.
Of course, I have a big heart when it comes to giving the other side a chance to win an argument. So, let's pretend the game went out of stock instead of the sale ending naturally.
Why did I purchase 4 copies? I have 2 valid reasons.
1. 4 copies of the game put the bill over $50 before shipping. This order was my first with play asia and I have a hard time trusting a company on a different continent. If they had divided shipping and the items into 2 bills, they could conveniently forget about my order and my credit card company wouldn't intervene because none of the charges were greater than $50.
2. Shipping was ridiculous in either time or price. Sure, I could have gone with $3 shipping, but the shipping time on that item was on the order of 2 months with no tracking. No thanks. The cheapest acceptable shipping was around $15 for 1 game. Clearly, not a deal. Multiple copies of the game made shipping costs reasonable.

Your little story is pretty funny, but the truth is all you did was stock up on the game so you could selling it for more than double the price later on ebay.

I divided the lot into three parts.
Part 1
Games like Test Drive: Eve of Destruction, Aliens Vs. Predator: Extinction or any game with a value greater than $6 were put into auctions with prices between $9.99 and $29.99.
I've sold right at 22 games and recovered about $328 of the $1193 I spent for your games.
Part 2
Games with a value less than $6 and are PO are currently waiting for a "Trade X games, preorder Y for free" that will get me a new game right at its release. Currently, there are 42 games in this category, but no EB games deal to exploit.
When another deal pops up (this month or next), each of those games will get me $7.40-$9.35 each or $310.80-$392.70 total.
Part 3
Games with a value less than $6 and are POX are waiting for me to get off of my ass and put them in a bulk lot. There are 70 of those games, 51 are sealed. Given my past luck, I'll get around $4 per game unless I spend $19.99 on the listing to make it a highlighted listing. Then, I'll get $5 each.
Anybody want to make an offer between $280 and $350 before shipping?
IF everything sells, I'll probably walk away with $500 for a week's worth of legwork, but I'll have to hold onto the PO titles for another month.
What CC company won't intervene unless the charge is over $50? Or to rephrase "What's in your wallet?"
$50 is the limit of liability under federal law if your CC is stolen and you report it within a reasonable time (fairly soon after getting your next bill I believe or something along those lines) But many companies will waive even that.
And this situation wouldn't be an unauthorized transfer (you would have authorized play-asia to make the charge) you'd be disputing a specific charge due to not receiving the promised goods. I'm pretty sure most will let you dispute charges that are under $50 for that. I've only had to do this once on any of my cards and it was for over $50 so I don't know for sure.

Maybe I need to rephrase that.
I can dispute any charge on my credit card. However, the credit card company won't get involved until the charge exceeds $50. Below $50 and I have to take it up with the company (play asia) without any assistance from my credit card company. I do not believe I could convince an overseas company (that may or may not have an 800 english speaking customer service line) to refund my money if they were dead set on keeping it. Having a credit card company handle a dispute "magically" resolves the dispute quickly and positively.

I'm not disputing the attempt to make a profit.
I would have preferred to buy 1 copy of the game so as to test the waters.
As far as greater than 100% profit, my out of pocket expenses for the game were about $87.
IF everything sells at $39.99, I'm close to 100% profit.
Of course, I'll be dropping the price as times passes and there is no change in the number of items sold.

This is the stuff I should have taken the time to look into since there are quite a few new games I was interested in getting. Hopefully by the time a nice deal comes around, those 42 won't be POXs.

Bump and general price drops on most of the fixed price auctions.
If the auction has less than 2 1/2 days left at 10EST Sunday, it probably won't have another price drop. I'm not promising anything, but tomorrow is a pretty busy day out of the home.
I hope to put up a bulk lot tonight. 51 new & sealed POX titles. I suppose I have one question keeping me from putting the lot up. Do GameCube games have factory stickers like PS2 and Xbox games? I'm pretty sure they don't, but I so rarely buy new NGC games.
Anyways, my daughter (3 years old) wants to watch me play Castlevania: SOTN ("the castle game") after Cinderella is over. How can I refuse?
EDIT: Child started whining to watch Cinderella after 5 minutes of CSOTN. I couldn't do it; I already watched it 6 times since yesterday morning. I got her to watch The Incredibles instead. Half a victory.

The 51 POX game auction is scheduled to start tonight at 9PM EST. The games are brand new and sealed.
There is a Buy It Now price of $335 and a starting bid of $24.99.
Since chickenhawk gave me a 5% discount, I guess I can extend the same courtesy to all CAGs in addition to free shipping.
I'm not expecting anybody here to shell out the $335, but I politely request everybody here to not put in the first bid. Somebody on eBay might bite for $335.
Thanks in advance to any auction bumps or purchases.

You won an auction!
Let me go weigh everything today. I can put up to 20 DC games into a flat rate priority mail box. However, it might be cheaper to send the 10 you won in a regular priority box.
I think you live in Louisville. So, I could meet you at a Louisville EB games.
If I mail it, it'll be no more than $8.15. If I hand deliver it, ... ummm ... how about $3?
Of course, hand delivery would require a photo I.D. and you signing for the item.
